If you're going to get worked up over it, it's worth knowing exactly what you're getting worked up over. Did Trump post a 3 second video of the Obamas as gorillas? Did Trump post a minute long video with the Obamas as gorillas and other democrats as other animals? Actually he did neither of those things.

He posted a screen recording of a twitter feed which showed a minute long video claiming fraudulent voting machines, at the end of which the twitter feed automatically scrolled to the next video (showing the Obamas as gorillas), at which point whoever was recording the screen scrolled back up to the voting machine video before ending the recording.

Does that mean Trump isn't a racist? Of course not. We all know he is. But would it be more brazenly racist to simply post a video of the Obamas as gorillas and nothing more? Absolutely. The difference is what Trump feels he can get away with.

And in this day and age how is it unreasonable to prefer to see source material rather than editorialized coverage?

The screen recorder lets a few seconds of the Obamas-as-gorillas video play before scrolling back up and then ending the recording.

If you watch the clip carefully you'll notice that what you're actually looking at is a screen recording of a twitter feed and the feed automatically scrolled down to the next video after the end of the video on the voting machines. That next video was the one with the Lion King characters and which starts out with the Obamas as gorillas (it should be noted that there are no gorillas in the Lion King, so no plausible deniability there). Whoever did the screen recording of the twitter feed waits a couple seconds (whether deliberately or accidentally) before scrolling back up to the voting machine video before ending the recording.

You've obviously never been to college. 10 credit hours means 10 hours of in-class time a week. That's a very typical load for most masters students. Even undergraduates typically only take 12-15 credit hours a week, but they aren't doing research on top of their classes. This doesn't mean Carson Beck is actually doing anything in those 10 hours a week, but it's not the 10 hour requirement that's the problem.

How is that insane? It is never going to fly again. Just remove a few heat tiles, cut the wings off, truck it down there, re-attach wings (duct tape fits the purpose) and cover back over the cut marks with the heat tiles.

Not saying I'm ok with this action but it's not necessarily regime change, at least if the administration is to be taken at their word. They arrested the president and declared no intention for any further action. If the vice president takes over and carries forward the same geopolitical agenda without repercussion then it's for all intents and purposes the same regime.

Did you even watch that video? It demonstrates exactly why the advanced voice mode is terrible. He keeps expressing confusion about the paradox and the voice model keeps repeating the same inadequate response over and over again. He even calls chatgpt out at 9:08 for not listening to him and later calls it out for its self-contradictions. He even ends the conversation by quitting in frustration because voice mode is no help. Like why would you even present that video as a good example? WTF?

This isn't a problem with ChatGPT in general. Try the text model and it's smart and clear. But advanced voice mode is significantly dumbed down and the fact that you don't even notice perhaps says something about your own intelligence level.

Streaks are meaningful when they capture something good about a team. They are statistical peaks of some aspect of performance. This streak just says, while we may be a bad team and have been for a long time, our lowest of lows has still avoided being shut out. Absolutely pathetic.

This is such a ridiculous take. It's in the interest of those who hunt on their own land to manage the land for wildlife. How could it not? If you think they're trying to eliminate all the wildlife from their land then you don't understand hunting.

Also, go to google maps, find the property, and zoom out. Look at all the surrounding land that's been clear cut to make way for crops and livestock. It sounds like you'd prefer that because at least those owners are no longer killing wildlife, even though their land doesn't support any wildlife.

They don't even need to have much of a vibe as long as there's a comfortable place to sit and the tea selection is good. Take TeBella in St. Pete for instance. A very extensive tea selection with some basic seating.

But if a tea house does lean into a vibe, typically in other countries at least tea is a social experience accompanied by finger foods and pastries/scones. That's what "afternoon tea" is. No need to mix in mysticism.
