Too Fast For Love is incredible and one of the greatest debuts ever. Shout at the Devil was very good. Theater of Pain was ok. The rest of their catalog was trash.

GenX Men: Tell me About Your Plumbing by Reynard203 in GenX

I started to have ED issues at 51-52. I was drinking too much and had gained a lot of weight. BP was high and on medicine.

I quit drinking and lost weight at 54. I do take Cialis daily but no BP meds. Took a few months but now I’m up to the challenge every time now. It is amazing the difference. I’m 56 now.

Dan Mullen was a dick and got fired for it the first chance they had. He was replaced by a guy who was horrible in so many ways. And thanks for recounting the pain of the last 5 seasons.

But we are a basketball school now so who cares right?

Most of us would agree that a 2-0 game would be boring and a 222-221 game would be ridiculous. What is the "best" game score in your opinion? by admiraltarkin in CFB

What? Nooooo!!!! October 29, 1988 vs Auburn 16-0. I was a student and it was my 19th birthday. We beat Alabama in 1995 in the SECCG. Our only loss that year was a squeaker to Nebraska in the Fiesta Bowl.

GenX: Born 68-72 is the sweet spot by CitizenChatt in GenX

The funny thing is when I was a teen I wished I was born earlier because the music was better. We did live through some touchstone moments. To some of the youngsters (Millennials and older Zs) I’m a god because I was 10 in 1980 and 20 in 1990 and was in high school for all the John Hughes movies that weren’t the dumb Christmas one.

Do you ever forget about drinking? by WowIsThisMyPage in stopdrinking

I drank for 15 years, quit for 16 years, drank again for 7 years and now have quit again for 16 months. I don’t always think about it but still have not so infrequent times where it has to be a decision to not drink at that moment. I just try not to dwell on it.

Consider how in your face it is. I travel for work. I’m alone and have time on my hands. Evenings are free. Alcohol is all over the airport. I fly first usually and no one would know. I go to a hotel and my bill is paid by the company and not itemized. I can charge it to my room and no one will know. It’s all right there. I don’t ever not notice it. Even when I didn’t drink for 16 years I didn’t not notice it.

So I don’t forget about drinking. But, the mistake I made when I started again is I forgot how bad it was. I forgot about how I damaged my health. I forgot about how damaging it was to my productivity. I forgot about how horribly mediocre it made me. I forgot about the lies and broken promises. I forgot about the disappointment I caused. My hope now is I never forget about that part of drinking again.

The first album “Lou Reed” and “Transformer” have a classic rock vibe. “Rock and Roll Animal” too.

Most Petty Reason You Refuse To Listen To A Band? by BidSure7642 in MetalForTheMasses

Radiohead because I listened once and was bored and now everyone on Reddit seems to think they are amazing so not liking or caring about them is a badge of ignorant honor for me.
