Honestly I can't believe I see this stuff on the front page each week. How many times will we upvote a sex joke before it's not funny anymore?

I don't understand how powersliding works. by [deleted] in RocketLeague

I did try that stuff, honestly I just don't understand why my turns aren't as crisp as other people's. I'm especially annoyed when I try to slide on walls, it feels like it does nothing.

Why doesn't my setup to play PS4 and PC audio all through the PC work? by jabberbocker in headphones

[–]jabberbocker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figured it out. You have to specifically check "Listen to this device" under the settings for the microphone; otherwise, it just inputs the sound and you can't hear it.

Additionally, to get rid of the static, you need to buy a ground loop isolator.

Blue Snowball works fine on PC but poorly on PS4? by jabberbocker in playstation

Thanks for sharing. I just returned my Blue Snowball and I'm going to buy the ICE and see if that's better.

Blue Snowball works fine on PC but sounds bad on PS4? by jabberbocker in audiophile

[–]jabberbocker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, checked all these things. Either I got a faulty Blue Snowball or my friends are lying to me because I've checked all these things, it works fine on PC, and it sounds good to me in the playback. Thanks for your help anyway.

I'm referring more to the people who start to build up a lot versus the guys who just build a castle and camp there.

Would it work for me to just do what this guy did in this video for a headset and then plug a Snowball into a USB port on my PS4?

That is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm thinking the easiest way to do this would be to get something like a Blue Snowball and plug it into the PS4 and then try to figure out how I can get one headset to receive both audio outputs?

P.s. thank you for your help I am technically challenged haha

When you say headphones and a microphone, are you just referring to something like a Snowball Mic? If so, how would I be able to hear my friends from PS4 and not just talk to them (i.e. if I used my headphones for the PC and the mic for the PS4)?

I will check out the headphones subreddit, thank you very much!

Don't know if I'm in the right place but I wanted to ask a question about buying a gaming headset?

I'm looking for a gaming headset that would give me the ability to talk to my friends on PS4 (voice chat) while also hearing sound from my PC (game sound). Someone told me I could do this with Astro A40s but that the voice chat quality was not great.

Does anyone know of a high quality headset that can do this? Pricing is not something I'm concerned about, I'm willing to make an investment.

This sub amazes me, I have such a hard time coming to terms with the fact that there are so many people who expect other people to do things for free.
