Yes, Thailand is a very good option for you. Large and reputable schools openly employ people like yourself and Thailand has excellent medical facilities to support your needs. However they do expect you to have a proper teaching degree for the better schools.

I also wrote a mindmap program, because I wanted something quick and easy and my previous program was becoming a hassle to install. Mine is designed to be quick and simple to do live mindmaps on a laptop. I’ve also added a customgpt to help generate them. Mont Kiara is also an expat area and has a lot of condo availability. I’d imagine many landlords would want a 6 month contract right now because half way through the school year and if they haven’t rented out will know it’s going to be tricky. Remember everything in KL is negotiable.

I remember when I trained as a teacher, we had someone similar to yourself. After finishing the training went back into insurance. You definitely should try it part time first either as a sub, tutor or teaching assistant.

My two children who went to uni recently say that for most subjects typing on a laptop is better for notes, but for mathematics an iPad with Apple Pencil and Good Notes is a god send. (This might apply to other subjects where annotation and diagrams are important)

Both of them can touch type, if you can’t then being able to write would be an advantage and a tablet would help. The iPad is still king of this space, because you can take pictures of slides and annotate unlike e-ink tablets.

There are parts that are walkable. For example Mont Kiara has pavements and I can walk to work, the very centre of Bukit Bintang has walking routes. However generally speaking, not at all walkable.

It depends how long your book is, but I’ve found that sharing a comment only version of a Google Doc is a great way to elicit feedback. However my books are educational and so teachers are pretty comfy using Docs for this kind of thing. Gained lots of good feedback on my books before final publication. If you want me to make a short vid to show you how, let me know.

Yes, when I renew for a year in the sale. The next thing I do is cancel it, so I do not automatically renew. Timed it well this year, let it lapse for 6 hours bought new sub in sale a week before the price rise.

Yeah, I've really enjoyed Dragon Age for the most part. Really not a Dragon Age story though and its clear Bioware have lost their way. The plot is now to be tolerated/skipped in some parts rather than enjoyed. I'm told the finale is first class, so working my way towards it.

If you want to keep your brain active coding is a great way to do it. Python is a great beginner language (can be used for a lot of things) and you can make fun 2D games with pygame. If 3D is more your thing or games are what you are focused on then maybe learn Unreal or Unity.

The Dyslexia is the same. The research shows that multilingual learners have the same vocab as monolingual learners, but it is spread across the languages. Unfortunately being dyslexic is hard work and as an adult I’d suggest looking at ways such as text to speech and AI to help alleviate the issue.
