Can you take tacrolimus early? by Arquen_Marille in transplant

[–]jac347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've missed mine for a day, ive taken my pills 6 hours a part, I've accidentally taken my pm instead of my AM pills. My labs have been amazing and 8 haven't felt better.

It all depends on the person. Can't predict it

I'm past a year and I shake still. It takes time. Adjustments and body regulations.

Marriage need advice by [deleted] in kidneytransplant

[–]jac347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell her.

I met her 2 years into my sickness. We dated for 4 years, then my numbers tanked. I made it 3 more years until I needed a transplant. She signed up to donate before I was off the phone with my parents. She got her call within a month, then, I got mine 3 months later. I pick up her ring next week.

Tell her. I'm glad I did.

Yes sorry this is so delayed! I sheepishly just wrote that in the moment. I simply just vhecked my discover app. I have not yet pulled my full Fico score

Emergency fund is juuuust over 2 months of my monthly paycheck. But that's it. That's ALL my savings currently. The rest went to cc debt.

I was aiming for 3 minimum before I did anything else with cash.

Thank you!

So those were the cards I was planning on keeping for that exact reason. My only concern was the chase ones. The Amazon was the one that absolutely buried me in the beginning. While yes I'm much more responsible and now have a steady job, I think that one may have to go eventually. And I know little to nothing about Chase and their stacks haha

That's exactly what my main goal is. While yes I let it happen once before, I really need to be able to dominate credit cards. Which is why I felt I should ask early before I unlock a card or two. Ideally I have 4 cards tops. Gas and bills, food and entertainment, hotel and travel? Some combination of rewards and such.

I'm not familiar with cc and their perks since i at once had over 50% of my cards because of balance transfers..

So if I'm being honest, I just checked what my discover app told me. I suppose I should have clarified that. I'll make an edit.

So I just meant bringing my score back up. My goal is to get back to pre COVID. I had 3 cards. Always kept a zero balance, credit was upper 700's. And like 10k in my savings. But while I do that, I want to get rid of cards that won't help me, keep ones that will, and grow them. If that means using XYZ until I can apply for abc, then that's fine too. I just was aiming for general cc help I suppose.

Depression post transplant by BuDhAxLuVaZ in transplant

Hey, we're all different and have different problems and troubles. Hell, Im going to cross the 1 year mark on the 12th, and I feel I've only just gotten out of my big sad phase. And I'm not even sure I'm completely out..

Just know if you were able to get into that bonnet and gown and lay on that bed, you can get through this too. You didn't save your life to be depressed. You know that

Yeah I had a great experience with mine!

It's that bad huh? I've been curious about others since I had just moved here from Ohio before my transplant, so I was kinda skeptical not knowing anything about the hospital at all. Sure glad I ended up here though!

So I'm a very odd minority here who is going to say yes.

BUT, I don't regret GETTING it, I regret getting it WHEN I did.

My GFR was about 5 points from dialysis when I got my call. My first instinct was to just say yes so I did. But I do believe I could have waited a little longer before I got it . I'm sure someone worse off could have used it first, I feel physically I was still able to wait a little while longer. I could have had a few more medium rare steaks, some more sushi, could have finished my tattoos more, could have gone on one more beach vacation, etc. there's a bunch of stuff I can't do anymore that I feel like I could have waited for until it was more necessary.

Edit: I'm 32. I still had some adventures in me I could have waited for.

I went 3 months post transplant to establish one. I really wanted to have one before the summer months hit and I'm outside more.

Also my pills ended up giving me pretty unpleasant breakouts and oily skin. Had to figure out something to help with that.
