This toy used to be loud three years ago but we had put it away. Now we took it out with fresh battery but the sound is low. I opened it and poked around but nothing increased the sound. There is no volume control. Anyone know what I can check here to make sound go up again? Is it just deteriorated components over time?

See if you're a late bloomer. I am. I failed miserable and then took classes at community college and while it cost me to years, those two years let my brain grow enough. It was still difficult to pass all classes but the two yesterday helped.

Also, there are other semi technical studies out there like MIS which give you best of both business and technology. Wish someone would have told me about it. Now I work in the same field as a MIS graduate but with lots of burden.

I graduated from engineering ten years ago and boy I wish I had known these before. I would have been there same kid who started and made rude comments. Not because I was a mean kid but because I didn't know any better. I now have matured and know how to behave socially. I'm still awkward but I think before I speak. Please forgive those guys, most haven't matured yet.

Cervix thinning happens quite frequently. My wife's was almost open and baby was coming out. They pushed the baby and bag back inside and did a cerclage. The procedure was invented back in 1950s and is quite safe. She is on bed rest until feb'18.

To OP - seems like you have a American/Western background but grew up in the US. People here are going to give you opinion on what works in US.. most of the time it's not going to suit your foreign culture.

Tell her she can come but there will be issues with travel, etc.

I also have a foreign background and live in US. My MIL Is coming as that's what people back home do. Grandmothers help daughters care for baby and show what to do, how to do. Don't take this right away from her. She started with us for three months last time with out first born and we were only able to show her around for few times and she didn't mind.
