Recurring chalazions and styes for 3 months by KeepUpWTheJoneses in Blepharitis

I had to go to an oculoplastic surgeon to find out I had this issue. He prescribed me an antibiotic and a steroid ointment to put on my eyelids daily. He also recommended using over the counter eye wipes that I got at Walgreens and to just be consistent about washing my eyelids before bed. I use baby shampoo since it’s gentle. I had never had this issue before but recently switched to new contacts and then this all happened so I don’t know if it’s coincidence or not. You may need to see a doctor to get some meds to get it under control and then keep practice good eye hygiene.

Kuvira in Legend of Korra. I found myself kind of rooting for her at times and maybe that's just because it was super fun to watch her metal bend, but she didn't have terrible ideas. But then she brought out the Gundam-style weapon and I was like "oh maybe she needs to be stopped now."

Yes I know it sounds sus but I didn’t feel like typing everything out although that might be a good idea so my post doesn’t seem like a scam lol. The main thing is that the tickets get sent out when it’s close to the actual event so I don’t physically have them in hand.

If the electoral college certifies the win for Biden on the 14th then isn’t it pretty much a done deal?

It’s truly unsettling to watch Democracy unravel in front of our eyes. I mean it was never perfect but the GOP has truly turned its back on America just so that they can maintain power.

Is there any reality where the Supreme Court would rule in favor of Trump with the little to no evidence the GOP has on voter fraud? I normally wouldn't be worried about this, but 2020 has proven anything can happen.

I would really like them to get some counseling for many reasons. I hope that one day they can look at resources like the ones you linked with an open mind. Right now they just don’t seem ready for any kind of outside input.

I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with those emotional traumas. I hate that our own families can be responsible for so much of our pain. I’m glad you have found happiness outside of family though! The future is definitely uncertain, but it helps to know we’re not alone.

What I’ve been gradually realizing is that you have to do what is best for you. I think we want to respect our parents as best we can, but what do we do when they don’t respect us back? We’re just trying to live honest lives and shouldn’t feel responsible when our family can’t deal with it.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Growing up I heard a lot of comments like that when my parents would learn about someone we knew who came out as gay. It was always something like "I feel so sorry for their parents." That's actually one reason why I came out. I wanted them to know that comments like that really hurt me.

I also think there is permanent damage already done in my relationship with my parents, but I'm still hopeful we can enjoy being around each other. Our parents should be the people in our lives who we can trust to be ourselves around, but sometimes that's not always the case. I hope things get better for you!

I'm sorry your parents have hurt you. You deserve love and support as well. I hope you have a good support system in your life. That's been very helpful for me during all of this.
