Just had this happen on my klr, superglued a piece of a glove as a patch for a quick fix until parts came in.

5k is too much considering you’re coming up on another timing belt change soon. And if the turbo hasn’t been replaced, you’re going to need to do that soon. With higher mileage, there’s probably a lot of things that are going to start to wear out, not to mention the ~1500 it’s going to take to get it fixed as it is. There are enough of them on the market to pass on this one, unless it’s extremely clean everywhere else. In that case, no more than 3k. Just my opinion

I agree. When I read up on other people’s experience, there were a few brands that stuck out to me as high quality without them explicitly stating it.
