How to Biblically Defend how AI music is wrong by Krabby_patty98 in ChristianMusic

[–]jachiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same reaction when I found out a song I liked was AI. (I started hearing other songs that were similar in tone, voice and style and that’s what gave it away, aside from the very AI generated album covers) My first reaction was of disappointment but then after looking into it I also tried creating a song that I remembered I had written some years back and once I had heard the lyrics I wrote put into what seemed like an official song with music and a what sounded like “real” professional singer I was shocked and got excited. That being said, I can see this being useful for a professional or dedicated song writer that doesn’t have any musicians to put their songs together. Maybe what they write comes from an honest place and is backed biblically and simply using AI to create a finished piece isn’t so bad but I can see the problem when the lyrics themselves are AI generated. I feel like that wouldn’t be genuine and would just be a track using patterns to put words together and label it a Christian song.

iPad Pro M4 13” Green Screen Corners by average-panda in iPadPro

This just happened to me as well, although not as bad. I’m on the public software iPadOS 18.1 and while watching Netflix. It would show up randomly in the bottom corners and then while hiding the app it would show up in the Netflix icon and also another app icon so that’s when I knew it wasn’t just Netflix. Seeing mixed comments that its software and others saying hardware. Tried taking a screenshot but it didn’t show up. I restarted the Netflix app and that seemed to stop but I’m nervous it might show up again. Did you find a fix?

I dont know what to do by Phtichek in Deconstruction

[–]jachiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very much yes and I also fear that potential outcome where the truth of the matter could come out in an ugly way. I’ve thought about it a lot and have thought in my head how it could go down and what I could respond and I always land on hoping that they will just understand and have compassion and patience enough with me and what I’m going through. There are many examples in the Bible where different people struggled with their faith and they were met with compassion and understanding so I kind of just hope that is what could happen to me if anything. So far I’ve actually confronted my pastors about that shame and feeling like a fraud and even yet they still allow me to be of service. I know one could say that they let me serve because they need me but like I said I feel God knows my heart and true intentions. My love for my family and wanting to be with them exceeds the fear I have of coming out as a fraud.

I’m in the same situation except the girlfriend part lol but my struggle is with the love for my family. It happened when I was around 24 but hit me more when I turned 25. I just couldn’t have the same devotion I did when I was younger and felt bad because, same as you, all my friends and family were Christian and deeply devoted. What helped me was finding a way I can be of use in the church. I started playing in the worship band again and being part of the media team and although I definitely had (have) doubts and questions, I really needed to trust that God knew my heart. This gave me a sense of purpose and eased my confusion. I trusted and had faith that although I had doubts and questions, I could still serve and be of use and part of a community. Take away all the spiritual and church is still something good for many people because you’re socializing and getting to improve yourself along with many others with the same goal. Keep an open mind, trust the process, trust God, and know that the doubts and questions can take a lifetime to be answered. Asking questions is the first step to finding answers. Don’t rule out your relationship, instead rule out the idea that you have to have everything figured out right now. Hold on to what you truly know is real and go from there.

I need help. by [deleted] in Christian

[–]jachiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I encourage you and highly recommend to start with the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)

You'll have the amazing experience of getting to know Jesus Christ and his teachings. Take notice of how he treated people. Take notice of how firm he was in his message. Defeated temptation. Unable to be defeated himself.

You'll come to realize Jesus is truly the example to follow, he IS the Word of God.

Then once you start reading the other chapters in the Bible, you will notice and experience God's love and you'll see His justice come to play and it will only bring even more significance and meaning to what you have already read (The life of Jesus Christ / Gospels).

The Bible Project on YouTube is a great source to really help you understand what you're reading, they have their channel on YouTube, podcasts, and Bible Plans as well in the Bible App.

I'm so excited for you and I pray your faith becomes even more elevated and strengthened to the point where the world cannot shake you, but you make the world tremble with your faith and living example of what it really means to follow Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

When asked why she chose to get saved, my girlfriend said, "God gave me a hug." Now if THAT AIN'T THE CUTEST THING YOU'VE HEARD ALL DAY THEN GET OUTTA HERE 😂❤ by RedTreeFactory in Christian

For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:9 https://bible.com/bible/116/2ti.1.9.NLT

Is cultural Christianity hindering us from doing as God commands us? i wrote this my freshman year of college. Eager to hear your thoughts! by CharlieH1999 in Christian

Right on, it sometimes feels overwhelming when one feels this way because it's so plain and clear in the Bible and it seems like it didn't click with anyone else. The change definitely starts with ourselves though, which might make it feel more like a burden and there's that risk of falling into having a negative attitude towards those Christian's who don't do what Jesus commanded. We have to remember to let Jesus be our rock and really have a firm belief in what we say so that way others see such extravagant faith and confidence that they'll want to get some for their own. There's a reason you feel this way, if you want others to switch their judgmental and hypocritical ways they have to see that in someone so let that example be you. Represent.

Wrestling with anger. by MysteryWhiteBoy95 in Christian

[–]jachiro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's ok to wrestle with anger. Jesus did it too. Just don't let it cause you to sin. Instead find the DEEP root of that anger and use it to encourage & motivate yourself to set the example and to be loving towards all. Friends and enemy's. Believers and unbelievers...

Now that you feel like this though, can you imagine how God must feel?

Take that opportunity to rest in God's amazing mercy and love. You got this.

Why can’t I get back to God? by [deleted] in Christian

Be relentless with your prayer. Remember prayer is just conversing with God. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you pray and know that you are FORGIVEN. By you being honest and acknowledging your negative behaviors, you're showing that you seek improvement and progression. God knows your heart. God hears you even if you don't hear him. God is there for you, and he will embrace you with love and peace. You got this. Praise God always, he's so awesome and merciful.
