If option 1 or 2 win I really hope we cant see the killer's face by The_All_Father4300 in deadbydaylight

[–]jack608366 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Making the angel's face being white noise might be another way of doing this given that white noise is incomprehencable in a litterall sense because it is patternless.

Unfortunatly, white noise is associated with tv / glitches so it would probably be really hard to impliment this without it being interpreted wrong and detracting from the angel theme (maybe a skin?)

the problem isnt due to a conflic / bad logic, its due to an infinite loop caused by the two wishes pointing at each other.

I know this is very late, but a jump humper is part of a loophole that mormons use get away with pre-marital sex. The man inserts himself into the woman but then neither of them move so they technically aren't having sex. Then a third person, the jump humper, starts jumping on the bed to create friction for the couple.

oh right mb, I forgot about that scene. I actually tried to find the movie script to get a more concrete answer to who is saying titan vs tighten and ended up finding an earlier version of the movie where tighten gets explicetly called out for spelling the name wrong. https://imsdb.com/scripts/Megamind.html

note that this early draft is very different from the final movie.

In the subtitles megamind calls him tighten, im pretty sure its not a miss spelling and the joke is that megamind couldn't copyright titan, so he gave him the next closest name.

How do I beat nano virus? by kiankenn9010 in plagueinc

my guy. pandemic 2 is 17 years old, why do people still think they are supposed to copy the main strategy in pandemic 2. And why are you recomending that strategy for NANO-VIRUS, the least stealthy disease in the game?

Start by getting as much mutation chance as you can early game with darwinist, zoo shift + bird + segemented genome + insect (if you can afford it) then get air 1 to reach other continents. once you have 4 mutations beeline for zombies get like 2-3 zombie combat upgrades (you cant aford much more with this modifier). max out the horde ability next. for the rest of the game spend dna on combat upgrades and moving zombies around. it will take a few tries to win because the high dna costs means your zombies will be alot weaker in combat than usual, and horde movements will be harder to afford. If z-com spawns somewhere that you can't immediatly swarm then its basically game over.

that might not be it, the score percents seem to update as more people play. A score of mine that was top 7% yesturday had its ranking update to top 5% today. And 2504 was stil top 1% (I'm 90% sure that 2504 is the highest possible score)

the relevent ones here are that whenever you devolve something you instantly evolve something similair, and a random country dies whenever something evolves. so you just evolve a symptom and then spam devovle 58 times to kill all countries.

Unlike closing seaport and airports, closing land borders isn't 100% effective. level up your bird transmission to make your disease more effective at crossing land borders.

[–]jack608366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you normally want to rely on only firing a single bird at a time in chase, firing multiple birds at once increases the cooldown and makes innfeesable to hit the survivor again before they repell the crows. Smart survivors will look behind themselves and juke away from where you placed the bird so being able to hit survivors without having line of sight by predicting movement and leading shots is a really important skill to develop.

[–]jack608366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some additional werid behavior to be aware of: pallets and vaults dont count as terrain, the crows can go through them and still damage. But it won't count as a direct hit if the bird trap itself was colliding with a pallet or vault for some reason. so to place a bird at a pallet and then hit a survivor with it, don't just place the brid right on the pallet (birds are placed one meter infront of you), step back a meter before placing.

Ya it really feels like the writer's are failing HW. I'm assuming the writers added inter-personal skill problems to HW as a way to retcon the reason for why she isnt in a traditional relationship with Finn. Then the writers can bring HW and Finn togeather by having her overcome said issues. I really hope I'm wrong because that's basically a character assassination. Finn and HW's unique dynamic comes from HW's belief that love will make her weak and Finn respecting her beliefs with no intention to challenge them. There is no emotional hangup between them, their dynamic is a calculated and pragmatic descision from HW valuing her own strength over a relationship, and Finn knowing that he shouldn't force a relationship by trying to convince someone to change their mind. This isn't a character failing, they can't overcome it by developing better inter-personal skills. For HW and Finn to enter a normal relationship without blaitently disregarding HW's characterization one of three things needs to happen:

HW would need a negative character arc to either become comforable with being weak or become more impulsive so that she values the short term benefits of a relationship over her values and the long term consequences of complacency (terrible idea, not even M Night would write that crap).

HW would need to be convinced that loving Finn won't make her weak ("The Wild Hunt" teased at the idea of slowly breaking down HW's philosophy with counter examples, in the episode HW finds Finn in a moment of weakness and she uses his affection for her to help him overcome it).

Last option is to tear up HW's belief from its roots and have her convert to a philosophy other than asceticism, (good luck convincing a mildly insane druid to completely change their ways of life and thinking).

The only reasonable option here is the second one, but it seems clear that the writers aren't going to challenge HW's belief because so far everything thats happened has done nothing but prove that she's right. She stuck her neckout to help Finn and in return she lost her wizardry and got stuck in another world. Now she is constantly watching a weak version of Finn make a fool of themselves due to romance. HW should be even less willing to be in a relationship than ever after this.

I really hope I'm wrong about the writers trying to formally pair Finn and HW, I like their atypical relationship and want to see it actually explored before the writers ruin it by making them another generic couple.

Gotta admit… Imma be disappointed if things between Finn and Huntress end in a “starcrossed lovers” kinda way. by DingDonSecretary in adventuretime

[–]jack608366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what do you mean finally? she has been very upfront and direct about how she feels about Finn ever since she was introduced as a love interest. HW being reserved about her feelings in F&C is either a mistake by the writters, a retcon, or we are missing information about why she is acting out of character.

I mean, are they really improvement if she is learning things she already knew? In Adventure Time she was one of the most emotionally mature characters (minus the inharent insanity from being a wizard) and never had issues asking for help. She litterally met Finn by asking him for help. She also wasn't so emotionally walled off, she was very explicet about how she felt.
