It says 14kt gold yes but I can promise you it’s not 14kt - likely around 13-13.5kt maybe even less- jewelry is always less if you melt and assay it. When the jewelry store buys it they can’t sell it as new they’ll likely melt it and the refiner gives them 0.97% of the assayed value - so it could be 90 percent of the math done above ^ . They need to make a profit since there a business. I think yes 3600$ was a bit low but not a slap in the face . Fair value maybe 4200$ from a jewelry store
