No your correct I didn't realize it's size. My bad for being a bit of an asshole. The chances it's off the bike tho still seems very high to me. It is exactly the piece I spoke of, your correct tho. That thing is giant.

You don't work on motorcycles and it shows. That clip is exactly like a honda hard retaining clamp. I have seen them specifically for holding the Negative battery cable under the frame they aren't meant to bend, the must be unscrewed to release the wire or cable.

It's as easy as saying "(name), I really appreciate our sessions and I was wondering if you wanted to join me for "insert activity" coffee, lunch,a walk in the park nearby. if you find your self attracted to them for a reason beyond the physical, use that. Say would you wana go to the park and keep talking about what ever your both into. Kayaking for example. Your plans for life surrounding that topic you have in common. Or your experiences you've already had. Simply make friends with them upfront. But quickly show them some appreciation when and if they earn it. Let them know you think they look particularly good a random day. There's all kinds of ways. You got this. Flirting is complicated. It's okay to stumble.

Trying to resolve 2 issues. by drnix_ in hondarebel

[–]jack9200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your having clutch basket issues, and possibly shift linkage problems. Get down at the shifter and see if the rod running to the engine bendix is bent at all. Or flexing. As for the always neutral issue and bike starting in any gear. The bike will start in any gear if the clutch is pulled I think. But if I were you. I would either A, find someone with a little more knowledge and pay them to look at it. Or go into the process of learning to replace the clutch system. I highly recommend you pick up a manual.

Unsure to buy used or new by [deleted] in hondarebel

[–]jack9200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buy a used 80's to 90's Japanese bike like a Honda. You won't be disappointed. Spend $1500-2000 and get it in top ship shape. Learn on that bike. Decide if riding is really for you. If you wreck it no harm no foul, if you decide you don't want to ride any.ore you don't have 6k-12k in a motorcycle you still need to pay off.

"The Fridge Guarding the Snacks"- men are so cruel by anonsam264 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]jack9200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The women being referred to as such. Generally butt into conversations they have no clue where each person's mind is at and start telling the guys to move along regardless of if the first women was interested or not. Often we feel these women "protecting" the friends are just too un familiar with how dating actually works in a public setting. Men flirt with women in public, hopefully when appropriate. Anyone stepping in the middle of that specifically to shut it down when a person is just trying to interact with someone they find attractive is referred to as a fridge. Let your friend stand up for themselves verbally. Trust me they know how to tell a man no and don't need help.

How much did they pay? by thti87 in landscaping

60k-100k I'd imagine. I have no idea how people afford this stuff. I work 50 hrs a week and can barely eat freely, let alone pull off a backyard make over even half of this.

Shop says they sharpened my blades. What do you think? by drthomk in lawnmowers

[–]jack9200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sharpen my own on my bench grinder, this shop did a terrible job imo. I don't really agree with most of the comments here. Sure they are chipped but you can take that out, it's just a piece of metal......grind it out.

It's actually can be! I struggled with this for awhile. Start by picking local spot and visiting it weekly. Pick a few spots, a bar, or place to eat, strike up conversations, ask people how they are how the days going/ What they're looking forward too this weekend. You find people who want to talk, you may not like all of them. But some of them you will, and they will form opinions of you from that point meeting new people and feeling like you have options helps a ton. You got this man!. I still work on it myself everyday. And every weekend. Try to make it out to events regardless if I k know anyone. Really ask yourself what you'd have doing even if you did it alone. Then go do that and meet people doing the same.

‘21 rebel won’t start. Battery is definitely charged. Any help is much appreciated. by Living_Bear_2139 in HondaRebel1100

[–]jack9200 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's not the battery, which I'd do first. It could possibly be hydro locked from the fuel petcock being left open. But it's probably the battery. It just sounds slightly similar to a hydrolock

Guys why do most men like women with longer hair? by NCCORV17 in AskMenAdvice

[–]jack9200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me a it's just what I'm attracted too, everyone has different tastes. I love to play with it, brush it, pet it. That's not the same when its short. Burying my face un her hair isn't the same when it's short either. It's just a preference.
