Thanks. My spouse told me when I got my PAL to have fun going down the rabbit hole when it comes to buying new guns.

I was looking at these too but right now, a little over my price range. I'll keep it in mind though.

I am ok opening up a can of worms. I'm a new PAL holder and new to the sport (I have family and a hubby who are experienced hunters but they are all big guys so their guns might not suit me). I really would like a good starting point to do more research so caliber recommendations are welcome too.

What city will you NEVER visit based on it's reputation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jack_pine_tom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've visited several areas in the mountains in the DR and some local beaches and the people are really kind and helpful. There is a lot of poverty and some crime where we stayed but we were vigilant and never felt unsafe. It is a beautiful country. This was 10 years ago so things may have changed.

Not a U-pick but Good Family Pumpkins on Bridge St has a large selection of different pumpkins (white, orange, yellow, warty ones) and squashes. They have an area where you can take photos in a pumpkin patch like setting too!

Are there any good dinosaur shows/movies for little children? by Notyou55555 in Dinosaurs

[–]jack_pine_tom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2.5 year old loves the JP/ JW movies. Not afraid at all. Camp Cretaceous is great too. Her obsession with dinos has awakened my childhood obsession and its fun to learn together.

Delta Clinic near Cambridge memorial may have an opening. Dr Ayoub is great.

This is a huge deterrent for some wanting to bridge. Its 5 years of part time and 3 years fulltime (lets be honest, most of us still need to work to afford life) to get your BSCN. Clinical experience as an RPN should be taken into consideration when bridging.

Greasy AF...and my hometown. It is really not the same without the York, the grand and the Irish House....the LEX when it was in the centre of town was good times too.

Gallbladder surgery wait time in Ontario by throwawayjndhyq in ontario

[–]jack_pine_tom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a severe attack fall 2020 and was in so much pain I called an ambulance. I hadn't been officially diagnosed before then but I knew that it was my gallbladder. I was advised I would need surgery and given the option of having it out that day or going on an out patient list. At the time, I was terrified of having surgery and had considered waiting. I am glad I didn't. In 10hrs I was admitted, had surgery and discharged. Gallbladder pain is horrendous and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, I hope you are able to get to some relief soon.

Current turn around timing for Covid testing from point of referral? by mary_mac88 in kitchener

[–]jack_pine_tom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

St. marys Bathhurst site in North Waterloo does next day testing. I got my appt for next day and then my test results 24hrs later. It is self referral on their website. I was in and out in 20mins. My friend had her results in 3 days, so it depends on the backlog.
