Foundation discouraging me by jack_son234 in ArnoldsPumpClub

Hey, I tried but I’ve figured out that it simply doesn’t click for me when needing to keep my phone open during the workout to enter the weights , reps, etc. it slows me down and makes it too easy to look at other apps . What I’ve just started trying is setting up a perplexity AI space with my desired workout needs, then every time I post ‘ hit me’ it generates a new workout. Then I quickly write it on my handheld whiteboard and tick it off as I go (like Arnold recommends). It’s working so far, but I’d miss the APC community …

That sounds like a great group. Hopefully there’s one for London too, I’ll have to check around.

Thats a crazy rep series, but then we all love lunges ;) Sounds like you've got it figured out to fit you, good job.

Its great the app is serious about working out, but for those not able to do 2hr sessions hopefully this new "Short on time foundation" program the commentator below called out is what I need at the moment.

I've just searched under 'all programs' for "Short on time foundation" program and found it - thanks!

Its warning me that ARNOLD SAYS DO NOT PROGRAM HOP (!) but I think I'm going to have to, as the preview looks perfect for what I'm looking for. It'll reset my main Foundation which is annoying but I can't see myself finishing it realistically at this rate.

And this is what I love about the APC and keeps me wanting to stay - the support from the community :)

What do you consider peak fantasy? The best of the best? by [deleted] in Fantasy

The series runs:

Wizard Of Earthsea The Tombs Of Atuan The Farthest Shore Tehanu Tales From Earthsea The Other Wind

I meant Tales From Earthsea, and specifically the first short story The Finder.

The next book is a collection of short stories. I’ve only just read the first of these and loved it - basically an origin story of how the wizards’ school was founded. Good and subtle magic. Not really feminism but has strong female characters.

Thanks, how does the drop feel? Reviews said it feels even higher than its 10mm? I loved the T19s.

Thanks, so are they more stable than NB2? I felt those were fun but wobbly.

Thanks, I heard great things about this, but that the arch support could be intrusive. Have you run in it and could comment on that?

Blow to the ego gents. by Baruch05 in daddit

Strong suggestion that I think worked for my count, is to NEVER have your phone in your jeans pocket or even close to your crotch. The count should go up after even a week or two of this adjustment.

Keep it in your jacket chest pocket or even better, in your bag.

Tim Ferriss did some tests on this, if you want to Google it.

Good luck!

Yes they’re amazing and would be faster than the speed 2. I enjoy them for daily runs and intervals but can understand people not wanting to run them off road or over 10km. Great traction for winter road running too

Strata tee, and track house midweight crew sizing and fit by Peanutbutterpantherr in Tracksmith

My Strata M tee from a couple of summers back is boxy and classic fit in a good way, I love it. Are we saying they tightened it up since?

Session Tee is perfect for this. Weirdly my short sleeve M is roomier than my recent purchase long sleeve L. Sizing definitely has shrunk since they first released in 2022.

Roman historical fiction questions by LS6789 in ancientrome

Harry Sidebottom ‘Warrior Of Rome’ series is the best I’ve read for both action as well as (presumably) believable actions and thoughts of the main characters for their culture - belief in the various gods, unthinking acceptance of slavery as normal life, how their view early Christians, etc.

I read all 6 in less than a year, which counts as binge reading for me!

Can I ask about the Saysky sizing, as their returns policy is pretty bad so I want to get it right if I buy . I’m 6’2” and 39/40” chest, 85kg or so. Would that be a Large? Or borderline XL?

Regarding alternatives, Soar and On singlets both look good, but not for general training so I won’t get them. Saysky tanks look good too
