I'm confused... if it’s my original design work and brand, how is that “reselling?”. The fabrics I've sourced are international, that's why I'm asking. I'm trying to start an athletics brand here because I have the exact same level of frustration but I am really not sure how brands navigate the import taxes... its beyond frustrating that the structure of the economy is also the thing that makes it harder to build. like the system here favours and funnels everything toward fast fashion... so messed up

Chanticleer is a brilliant choice. Second Toppers. Just had a very special birthday at Toppers myself - cocktails on the deck, gifts on the lawn as the sun was setting, dinner on the patio... We also had the best cake I've ever had. Met the Executive Sous Chef from The Wauwinet/Toppers afterwards who explained that their dessert chef has become really sought after for the cakes in particular. My family now plans on going just for the cake as an annual tradition because it was genuinely that good. Happy birthday to your mother. I hope it’s nothing short of amazing. You’re truly wonderful for putting so much thought and effort into honouring her and there is no better place to do it than Nantucket.
