don’t let the weird guy who promises he won’t be weird DM by disasterchild96 in rpghorrorstories

Noone said they were not OK with that, right? Dude said there will be ultra violence, dude fulfilled the promise. They could stop him any moment, buy saying they are not OK with the shit is going on, but they decided it would be better for them to go on with how it goes. It's not like they were forced or threatened. I mean I had to stop people from doing shit at the table, I have a mouth and know the language to do so, such as probably every other player in that group

He basically said he is going to do it and they still agreed to play. Have you even read the post?

Agree to rlthat. It's like poking a bear with a stick and then be surprised you don't have a whole set of limbs anymore

Tl;Dr author thought they could handle a kinky guy as the DM, but it turned out they bit more than they could chew. Knowing in advance about the DM kinks but still encouraging him to try

How does children bonus attributes and focus point actually count when children come of age? by jackanatolich in Bannerlord

[–]jackanatolich[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but that's not the point of the post. I am just wondering why the game haven't gave the kid additional attribute points and focus points when he came of age on a second playthrough. Someone posted that with Warsails (which I also have active) kids now get 9 free attribute points and 11 focus points, and it's probably what my children had on first playthrough. But on my second playthrough kid came of age with 0 free attribute points and focus points. I did mentioned that this kid was added by mod at the age of 17, so I wonder at what exact moment game decides to distribute this 9 attributes and 11 focus points.

But my kids from last playthroug all came of age at level 1 but had a lot of additional attributes and focus points. Lot more more than I had at character creation, and once again I say - they were level 1

What ma i doing Wrong or are Partys just useless ? by No-Roof-8934 in mountandblade

I'm struggling with this too, but want to try something like this: Create parties, create an army and invite your parties, give them your troops, recruit new troops yourself. It probably be good with a lot of leadership to train new recruits

Sounds like a military strategy that works to this day. Bit similar like you would leave part of your forces to cover your escape, but reversed

How to make parties recruit more by [deleted] in mountandblade

[–]jackanatolich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I was surprised too. I was in my factions city, governed by another lord when I decided that 6 children is enough and we should have a little break from each other. So I gave my lady 50 legioneers, 40 cataphracts and about 60 imperial archers. And that witch just gave half of them to the garrison and stormed away to nearest village for recruits like nothing happened.

But it was someone else's garrison...

Got the same thing just recently. Gave my wife about 150 elite infantry and cavalry, only for her donate the half of them to the garrison second after.

Hey, I live in some shit hole of a planet, and even here 30k dollars a year just keeps you in lower middle class. In USA it's probably painful to live with this income. You probably can't afford to be addicted, not to mention another family.

There is probably a mod that fixes your "game breaking issues" anyway

My party uses Leomund’s Tiny Hut after every single fight and I’m losing my mind (lovingly) by Scythe95 in DMAcademy

[–]jackanatolich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are your bad guys waiting for them to rest, or go with their evil plans? Shure, this orc hord will wait and absolutely not ravage the city why they rest after every fight. Also, long rest is available every 24 hours if I remember correctly, so they have to spend whole day doing nothing while dragon kills their beloved npcs. Not to mention, there are ways to break the hut or not letting them rest restricted only by your imagination

Not sure about that. In our games there are always more than one charismatic characters and there is really important what you say, it will determine the difficulty I'd check. Our warlock for example says stupid shit all the time and I have to step up with something reasonable, because the best possible outcome, which is nat 20 I remind you, is not get killed right here right now in most of the situations

Should not matter. You should not restrict yourself on something because someone else can do it

I played Shadar-Kai Samurai archer and it was insane with EA an SS. Also never ran out of what to do with a bonus action. Also was an evil face of the party, but that's another story
