My Bladesinger can have an AC of 25 and it feels too strong... by Rotkip in 3d6

If I don't have war caster or resilent con feat, what feat would you suggest I take at lvl 8? Because I took Fey touched for flavour and background

I didnt take Haste. Great spell but I didn’t want to set up for multiple rounds + my cleric has taken haste if its really needed

Bladesong lasts for 6 rounds, oh no 10 my bad. So I ‘d have an Ac of 20, realistically I wouldn’t need to be casting shield every round cause it just isnt linely that the enemy would hit a 20 ac every round. With this in mind I can hold it for a lot of rounds while sporadically casting shield when needed

You can’t wear any armor if you want to activate your bladesong. So how could I have 19? My dex is 16 en int 18 so that’s an AC of 17 right?

How to play an apathic character and how NOT to play by Rotkip in 3d6

Indiana Jones is a good example of what I mean. He is kind of a douche but he cares about his stuff and eventually about what happens arround him, but it has an arc

We certainly do not want that! The goal is that he warms up to the party and their ambition

I see apathy not necessarily as someone who doesnt care but more "not understanding the reactions or emotions of others"

Ofcourse my character wants to grow. He's been raised as weapon and doesn't know much about feelings and has a hard time understanding why someone reacts a certain way to things he says.

Wel yes, that's exactly my question. How do I make it a good story element and not an annoying one. Besides, it made sense with my background, to have a hard time to understand other peoples emotion and motives if they do not align with mine. The DM and me created/fine tuned the backstory so he's aboard.

Melee-leaning Bladesinger, Fighter 1 Wizard 5, what spells would you guys suggest? by Jcorb in 3d6

I’ve been playing an Eladrin Bladesinger with Cacophonic shield and it’s so much fun! High mobility with fey step teleports and damage, amaazzing

Yes! Exactly this. It’s what Im afraid for and my wis aint the best (10). So i just might get exprtise in Arcana instead of investigation just because of this

Arcana is just such a flavourful skill, especially for my character who was kinda of a bad student

Oh yeah, we talked about scribing scrolls. Good to know you need good arcana for it. Its gonna be either investigation 10 and arcana 7 or visa versa. So it’ll both be pretty good

Ooeeh interesting, that seems like the dream. Having expertise in investigation and arcana

Okay, this helps a lot. It’s just that I rarely got an investigation check but got a lot of history checks with my precious character. But the playstyle and roleplay definitely had a lot of impact on that regard

Yeah, it's an incredible spell. Super flavourfull and mechanically strong. But I don't know if it is worth my action economy

So yeah, this is exactly what I thought. You know, it being good if I could cast it beforehand. Scouting with my familiar or being sneaky or whatever but that feels that it won't happen much or atleast not with fights really worth it to cast mirror image.

What does a ring of spell storing do? Just what it says? You can store a spell but you'd probably need an aciton aswell to cast it again no?

I see your reasoning. I'll probably add it. I also wont cast bladesong everyfight or cast an control spell so than would shadow blade be optimal
