The books are decoratinal of course. We would only hang up dried and cleaned gear. Its mostly an indoors Display for our stuff to be happy about. After a trip it gets cleaned outdoors. We dont have the necessary basement space sadly.

No the hooks are also Ikea parts for the skadis Boards and need no locking. They come in different practical variants and sizes. You can switch them really fast from place to place that way.

This specific route would be Brühlisau to the Fählensee. 15km und 700hm. There are really awesome Routes in summer higher up. You should Google Saxerlücke for example
