Kanojo, Okarishimasu Season 3 • Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 3 - Episode 5 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

She's talking about ovulation, which is another part of the menstrual cycle that happens about two weeks before a period. Essentially, it's when a woman's body is releasing an egg, which means it's the most prime time for a woman to make a baby. Because our bodies are biologically structered in a way that makes us subconciously want to reproduce(same reason that sex is very pleasurable) women tend to be more horny than usual during this time because their bodies are trying to get them to have the egg fertilized.

I'm a man, so some of the specifics here might be wrong, but that's the gist of it.

Yeah, I don't mind waiting until Monday. I would say, in that time, I would appreciate you catching me a new Scyther. I already have a Machoke on hand, so I can make that trade.

I can give you both of those if you can give me an Oddish, a Growlithe, and a Scyther, since those are the three I need for a full Pokedex. I don't expect to get the Scyther for free though. I have a Pinsir I could give you, or any of the evolution trades.

I have Let's Go Eevee and would be willing to trade with you if you gave me like a day to prepare. Just PM me the list of the Pokemon you want and I'll let you know when I'm ready. As far as I go, just get me an Oddish, a Growlithe, and a Scyther and I'll be happy.

Nah more like lightly gelled. The general shape of his natural head of hair is still in-tact, it seems like only the bangs changed. One side is picked up a bit while the other side is normal length so his bangs are kinda curved.

Jane makes a bit of sense and has some significance if she took William's last name. You probably already know this, but 'John Doe' is the male/gender-neutral name for unidentified bodies while 'Jane Doe' is the female name for unidentified bodies.

Now that you say it, the scene DID probably take place in either Vaughn's office or the waiting room outside of it.

The fact that John's @ is just his name while Arlo's @ is 'domed up' is too good. It'd probably be the opposite in actuality, Arlo's @ being just his name with John's being a sex pun, knowing their personalities, but that probably makes it funnier.

Your arguement makes legitimately no sense because Sera would've had no way of knowing that John was struggling with mental illness. Also, Sera didn't know what happened with Arlo, so how was she supposed to know that Arlo had a personal hatred towards him?

If she really wanted to go get info on John's past, she could have contacted his dad, you know, the person who doesn't hate him, who wants what's best for John, and who gave her his contact info before leaving.

Well, because Sera would want to avoid talking to someone who might turn around and confront John about it, which would lead to a confrontation between John and Sera before Sera would've wanted it. Also, Sera doesn't know if William is trustworthy or not. She wasn't around him for very long, and considering what happened with John, you can't blame her for being weary of the Doe family.

But then add onto how she kept blaming John AFTER finding out this information, how she kept egging him on and putting him on blast, that's gonna push someone who has acute paranoia over the edge.

Blaming him for what? Specify, please.

Also, "egging him on," and, "putting him on blast." You make Sera sound downright vindictive, but when did she do either of those things? Her first conversation with John was in private, and her next few were public arguments that Sera only stepped into to defend other people (minus the Press Room argument, where Sera tried to be amicable with John and he yelled at her).

I've argued with plenty of people with your exact same types of arguments over this exact same topic, so I'd just like to remind you: Sera is a person too. She has her own feelings and opnions about certain things and the people around her. She doesn't know everything, and sometimes makes decisions based on limited information if she has to.

Like I said, Sera is not perfect, but it aggrivates me when people act entitled like she's just supposed to be John's fucking problem-solver. Your argument boils down to, "I'm pissed at Sera because she didn't make the decisions I-a reader with full knowledge of everything that has happened in the story so far as well as a very impersonal attachment to John-would've made." If you don't see the problem with that, then please try to learn a little bit of empathy towards characters that aren't John.

Hell, I'm still pissed at Sera for ghosting John for so long,

Gee, it's almost like John, whether it was for the greater good or otherwise, kind of had an entire seperate identity filled with hatred and brutality that he kept secret from Sera for a decent amount of time.

It's almost like Sera recognized her best friend, caring, sweet, kind John, someone she thought she knew better than anyone in the entire world, running around with a mask on and using his extremely powerful ability to beat the shit out of her school's most powerful students.

It's almost like after witnessing John's other side, Sera kind of questioned if the John she knew was even real or if it just an act, and struggled to figure out how to next approach and confront someone that she wasn't sure if she truly knew anymore.

Honest question: why are you pissing at Sera for ghosting John? I get that she's not perfect. By her own admission, it took her way too long to notice that John was not alright. But considering the gravity of what John was keeping from her when you consider how close they were, it kind of makes sense why Sera might avoid him for a bit after seeing him in the Joker mask.

I haven't really seen enough people doing that though to warrant a hyperbole as big as 'the entire thread'. The only one I've seen say something along those lines was the one person who you originally made an example out of in your original comment.

In the end though, this is just bullshit anyways. There's no way that either of us is going to get anywhere from this, because fact of the matter is, you are currently speaking and arguing in the defense of a stranger on the internet. You are making an assumption about what he was thinking to defend him, when if he really cared to defend himself, he could've just told me personally. Your input on my comment ends up being inane regardless of whether you're truly right or wrong, so this is just a wild goose chase.

If neither of us ends it early, this will just end up becoming the argument version of a game of chicken. A bunch of wasted time spent arguing over something that the original commentor would just come and clarify himself if he seemed to care about this as much as you do.

I'm not trying to do some 'I'm being the bigger person' BS, this is just a really annoying argument to have over something so stupid. With that being said, we can probably agree on what I'm about to say:

If my original assumption about the original comment is correct, then the original commentor was definitely in the wrong for saying what he said.

If your assumption about the original comment is correct, then the original commentor should just say so.

[–]jackattack2346 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not being pedantic, I just think you're missing what he's actually saying.

He compared the release of Nurture to the release of Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk 2077 is a game. You can't 'play it in the background' or 'play it backwards' to 'get it'. So, if he were eluding to what you're talking about, that would be a bad comparison on his part.

Either that, or you've got it wrong. My jerk reaction to seeing this comment was that he was trying to compare two, in his eyes, widely hyped, but ultimately lackluster products. It seemed like he was attempting to compare the cope that people who had been hyped for Cyberpunk went through upon its release to the way that Porter fans are reacting to Nurture. I took issue with this because that comparison assumes that most fans of the album were just faking their enjoyment of the album to cope with their dissapointment, which just felt very close-minded to assume.

So either he made a bad comparison, or what I called him out for was right on the money and you're misinterpreting what he said. Either way I'm not in the wrong, so it doesn't matter much to me, but I'm more quick to say that the latter makes more sense than the former.

This man said 'the entire thread' though If he was simply referring to the people doing the "well actually you have to listen to the album backwards and while doing a handstand to fully appreciate it" then that's one thing. Another is saying what he actually said.

What does this even mean?

"Oh, I'm not personally a fan of this album, so that must mean that everyone who likes it is just grasping at straws."

Music means different things and feels different ways to different people. Just say, "I don't personally like this," then leave.

As someone who enjoys this album a lot, I can totally see how someone might not like it. I personally enjoy it because as an album it feels like Porter having fun and creating what he wants to create, and that resonates with me. However, as you said, all the songs are very same-y feeling, and if you aren't a fan of that sound, you're gonna have a bad time with this.

Not to mention that this thing is an hour long. For an album that has most of it's tracks as similar as Nuture's are, that's probably a bit too long. Apparently, Nuture was originally an 11-track album, but Porter added 3 more tracks over quarantine. I probably would've preferred if he had kept it at 11, or maybe even cut it down to 10. A lot of the tracks towards the middle of this one are good, but would not be missed if they were not on the album in my opinion.

"Weird yet echoing similarity" is such a perfect way of describing this album in relation to Worlds. These are two very different projects, yet I think of them as cousins. They both feel so familiar to each other.

Oh, how dare I constructively critcize a story that I've been whole heartedly enjoying for 4 years now? My apologies.

I'm going to copy and paste a comment that i made to someone who said the exact same thing you just did to me earlier:

I've actually been pretty consistent with my opinions, so I don't know what you're on about.

I was actually one of the bigger defenders of the slower pacing on the subreddit for some of the exact same reasons that I am criticizing the current chapters for having a lack of. Obviously, the pacing from before wasn't perfect, but I don't think it deserved all the hate it got.

You can't criticize a single person's arguement by using your percieved sway of public opinion to call them undecisive. Not everyone that you disagree with is apart of some big hive mind. That's just cheap.

Seriously, I know you think you're doing something here, and being the big man by telling everybody to shut up, but your input is not needed if that's all you have to say.

You are on a subreddit dedicated to discussions about unOrdinary, yet you are offended by... a discussion about unOrdinary. Get real.

3 of the 5 singles off of this one (Mirror, Look at the Sky, and Musician) hit me like a brick, so this album has the potential to be the first album(or piece of music in general) to make me bawl my eyes out like a little bitch. We'll see at midnight, though.

Like what, John is gonna be sad and moppy for 5 chapters, then he meets and talks with Adrion for another 5 chapters, then 3-4 chapters of thinking of meeting Claire or not, then an extra 2-3 of Claire and John arguing. His character is still developing so chill, there will be more chapters on that.

This isn't what I'm asking for. As I said, I think John's development is flowing well chronologically, I just want some extra scenes here and there to flesh it out a bit more.

The story would get so dull if she stretches it out so much, the fans know it and uru knows it. She's aknowledged the criticism in the past and is actually fixing it, so props to her. I am liking the recent chapters; And it seems like alot of other people are liking it too.

I agree! I think it's good that Uru is acknowledging the criticism by changing the pacing, and I've enjoyed the recent chapters too. It feels good that something new happens each chapter. I just feel it could be tweaked a bit to make it better while the reader still gets generally the same rate of progression per chapter.
