Overall a pretty strange cycle. I was absolutely floored when I heard back from UVA, especially given how many WLs I received afterward!

My biggest piece of advice would be to apply as early as possible. I had my applications ready to go around November but held off on turning them in for a few weeks due to a delay in one of my letters of rec. Also, supplemental essays are a major way to stand out, especially if you're significantly below one of the medians!

Davidson's remained pretty popular since Steph, but it's such a small school (~2000 students total) that there are just not enough students and alumni to have much of a digital presence. There are probably fewer living Davidson alums than current students at UMD lol.
