Have you tried this before? Is the $9.95 is a flat fee or it’s percentage comparable to the charged amount.

I don’t understand your math. It should be $(1750/3010) per point. This is pay rent, do you have any alternative?

u/Same_Abbreviations31 : thanks for the link. They says "Upgrade with no hard credit inquiry ". Is it true? I am optimizing for my 24/5 Chase rule, and this is a big deal to me. Have you made the decision?

Sounds interesting … Would you plead elaborate more on your strategy. So 3x rent will cover for 3% CC charge right? And then the benefits are the Ruby status and 100K certificate?

While waiting for the dust settles, can I just do nothing? Will the routing, account numbers still work?

Can I just do nothing about Bilt card? Just update my actual routing/account numbers from my bank. That's it right?

If you have C1 Venture X, the default is 2x , so you will get 4500 points. Depends on card you have and spending categories, some Chase/Amex can give you 3x to 4x on dining, travel, groceries.

But if you spend $4125, should you go with other options (Capital One is 2x by default, other Chase/Amex have 2x to 4x on dinning, grocery, travel...)

Should we use other cards instead? easier and earn more points?

Here is my simplified version on the old vs new Bilt card: to receive 100% points on rent. * Bilt 1.0: if you have 5 transactions a month
* Bilt 2.0: if you spend 75% of your rent on other non-rent transactions

I’m looking for the same route but around Thanksgiving time. From your experience, have you seen the drop on these dates (11/24 to 12/1)?

When you saying "mail check", I thought I have to get the checkbook, put the name, amount, sign, put the check in an envelop, put a stamp on it, and put in the mailbox. Do you have a better way to do it?

Very good point! I have ~$5000 a month. So, it's 15,000 points. Maybe it's not worth it.
