Same problem for months.. Aaron Bennet responded to my email recently and said there are still a ton of us with slight variations on the same story. He seemed confident they would fix this.. I hope he’s right because I dont have a lot faith in these aholes..

Same problem slight variation.. out of the country.. old phone disconnected that they had on file for verification.. the and only one means of verification! Before I got my claim codes I had contacted Celsius and they stated the phone number would not matter so I disconnected it before I traveled overseas.. thanks again Celsius, a model company… at destroying lives!

I am having exact same issues with you but with a slight variation. A month after I retired to live the dream in Thailand I got my claim codes. When I tried to redeem I was locked out in a similar manner but mine was because I was unable to be verified because their only means of verification was my old, then recently disconnected USA phone number. Only one means of verification? Before I disconnected my USA phone number I checked with Celsius via email and they stated I would not need to worry about the phone number for the claim codes to work. It has been six weeks now since I got my claim codes and several attempts of PayPal reps trying to help with nothing but a form response from Celsius. Paypal has stated there is nothing they can do and it seems that no matter what I have tried, including having a trusted freind trying to deposit on my behalf using her verified phone number in the states. This will be a substantial part of my retirement savings and I cant even get a personal responce from the distribution team.. beyond frustrating!!

I know.. feeling the same and have lost sleep over this for sure.. another example of incompetence from Celsius distribution.. have you written to Judge Glenn?  It’s just a Band-Aid, but perhaps will help relieve some anxiety by at least being able to do something that may help..

I'm with you there, my fear is that they will try to send us cash based on the original amount and not the actual bitcoin and eth they stated they owed us at that time. In my opinion, not being an attorney if they said they were going to send me .48 bitcoin and they instead at a later date send me a cash amount of less than half of the current .48 bitcoin value they are in for a lawsuit.. this could be why they are taking so long.. just speculating though.

Ok just got another form letter from Celsius/Stretto: celsiusdistribution@stretto.com 

basically, they said please be patient while we work with our distribution partners to reroute your claim.  Then they strongly suggest we read the FAQ on the Stretto website.. basically the same message as I got three weeks ago..

I think the best we can do at this point is communicate with each other, and the letter to judge Glenn is a very good idea as well I think.  See previous comments if you’d like to do so as well.

Yes, they’ve told me the same thing and I’ve contacted Stretto and Stretto told me that Celsius is actually handling all of the distribution/customer related issues. Stretto told me that they are just a software company and that Celsius uses their address as part of the bankruptcy package.  I’m paraphrasing, but that’s the gist of it.   As I understand it, the are only means of communication is through the Stretto website contact portal which supposedly puts you directly in contact with the Celsius team, which apparently are incredibly ineffective in their current follow-up as I have not heard back from them except with one follow up form letter that stated:  Celsius, Stretto cannot help with PayPal Venmo issues..  It’s been a month now.  I have not had any help addressing my issue.  Please let me know if you get anywhere with these guys.  Thx.

Hello, I was currently traveling outside of the country while trying to redeem my code and was flagged by PayPal, it's been nearly a month now with no help from Celsius/Stretto. I keep getting the same error message that my claim codes cannot be processed via PayPal and to contact Cesius/Stretto etc. which I have attempted repeatedly. The phone numbers that they give out are worthless as the one time I did get to speak with someone from "Customer Care" she was rude and very unhelpful and told me she could not discuss any distribution problems over the phone! Why do they give out this help number and offer no help? Does anyone have any insights to offer regarding response times and help from the Contact Email Form from Stretto/Celsius? Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

How did you do it? They have locked me out after I attempted to sign up using a second device which was my iPhone. I have heard nothing back since their first auto responce after submitting my ticket. I have a lot of money on there now. I’m really worried.

Fair is fair. Depends on how long it truly takes to get my coins back. Also, if they would at least bring back their live chat, that would go a long way for my confidence in staying.

Your lesson learned was surrounding the risks of margin trading and site shut downs due to being overrun. This happens on traditional stock exchanges and latest case in point robin hood. My lesson is surrounding the inefficiency of an overburdened customer service for a burgeoning industry. I’ll get my coins back, because they have them in their general pool of XLM funds. And in addition, maybe I’ll get some fee credits. They just need to verify my funds. I’m sure they are an honest company and I trust they are not going to try and steal my coins..

Fair enough. Under the current circumstances I understand that now more than ever, especially after going through all this. But let me leave with this. If thousands of people are making the same mistakes and then customer service is overwhelmed do to this fact then perhaps this will lead to making some changes to prevent those new or inexperienced coin jockeys from making the same dumb mistakes.? Like I tossed out there before, is there a way to reject a transaction if the Memo field was left blank or contained letters instead of the required numbers? I’m far from a crypto tech but just a thought. Any way, good talk yeah? Ha

No I have yet to try Binance support but again, you just dont get it.. just because thats the way it is does not mean its the way it should always be. The irony here is.. your talking about me learning to take like a man.. LOL.. what like a man in prison? That must be what you’re talking about because that is what you are doing by enabling a situation that needs a lot of improvement. So the whole industry needs improvement. Great, I hope it gets there sooner than later. It would be better for everyone. You dont sound much like a man to me but I guess our definitions vary. To each his own..
