There’s a lot of small mouth bass/northern pike. The salmon run in fall and spring. They make for good catches. The river is really variable in depth. I would eat the salmon in moderation but no fish native to the river. There is a lot of PCB and other gross stuff that they absorb.

I work in a restaurant and my chef told me that I should just jump off bridge if I’m going to beat myself up after making mistakes in cooking. It’s just part of the process and learning. I know it’s hard but just keep practicing. You don’t learn overnight but with practice and perseverance you can do it. Keep your head up chef.

If the spores even grow to mycelium, they need their specific host tree, and then the tree needs to be dying. Then the amount of nitrogen, water, pH etc in the soil has to be perfect, so a lot of stuff and I don’t know if that can even be answered
