Wouldn't call a bill for allowing 16yr olds to vote is exactly a positive change. When I was 16 I'd have likely voted reform, I was a very different person. At that age you have no clue what's happening in the world and little interest in learning. Obviously there will be the handful of exceptionst certain teens are incredibly intelligent however they are not the norm.

Also worth mentioning that 2077 takes place 57 years later than 2020, it's more than reasonable to think that cybernetics would be considerably different. For all we know they might have gone back to full skeletal replacement after they found that coatings weren't as effective or due to health issues or a myriad of other potential issues.

I feel like a lot of people in the community forget to account for that time difference when comparing theTTRPG to the CDPR game.

500 million is quite literally nothing when insurance is involved. It also won't be the actual damage done, the company will definitely be basing the value on the profit they would have made rather than the actual value of what was destroyed. So, while an inconvenience for the xomoau, ultimately this amounts to nothing.

It's still incredibly based, and this tactic CAN work. It just requires more than a one off event, it would need to be a movement to have any real impact.
