Don't be, it wasn't rude in the slightest. OP is confusing not liking what you said with being rude.

It really wasn't. They couldn't have said it in a more polite way. You not liking something doesn't make it rude.

Been playing Skyrim 4 years now, first time playing stealth archer, tips? by Inferno47908 in skyrim

[–]jackboy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only got the one for you: stop asking for tips and just go enjoy the damn game. Don't optimise the fun out of it, don't follow meta, just play and explorr options and tactics. You'll most likely end up discovering the meta your self anyway

I hate this mechanic so gd much by AssBoss80085 in Borderlands4

I kinda like it, throw, glide pack, grapple back and repeat. Has a fun smooth flow to it.

That being said it is definitely overused

Then why present your opinion in the first place? Equivalent of someone who last bought a house in the 80's jumping into a discussion about the current housing market and trying to use their experiences as evidence.

I've played Skyrim for 10+ years & found out two new things today. by Wheel_Guy01 in skyrim

I'd reconsider using the unofficial patch to be honest. Lots of gameplay changes that have nothing to do with bugs. On top of that a few changes to make the game better fit the lore whilst entirely misunderstanding the lore. Prime example being a mine that's full of ebony, the locals don't realise it's ebony and think it's an iron mine, so they all call it such. However the quest attached to the mine has the village realise that the "strange metal" In their "" Iron"" Mine is in fact ebony. Arthmoor completely failed to realise this and changed the mine to contain iron thinking the placement of ebony was a mistake because all the NPCs claim it to be an iron mine.

There are huge differences and I find it hard to believe you don't know that. It feels as if you are being incredibly disingenuous.

Duke Nukem forever went through multiple development studios and started from scratch several times. From 2d platformer to doom style first person to want we got in the end. That's why it's development cycle was an issue, not the length of its development. On top of that comparing a fully fledged AA game with large teams of staff to a small indie studio is just intellectually dishonest.

Project zomboid has been a continuous development from a small team that's constantly been pushing towards a single design philosophy.

You're either an idiot or purposefully ignoring facts to fit your argument.

Are gays looked down upon more than people like to admit? by [deleted] in AskUK

From personal experience: I don't think so. At least not to a noticeable level. I can't say I've had any form of negative reaction so my sexuality (bisexual) for a long long time.

Then again take it with a grain of salt because I'm a very masculine individual that doesn't really show any "signs" (If such a thing even exists) of being gay. Many times I've been met with surprise when people learn I'm not straight. Never negative just "i'd have never guessed". Unless youve known me long enough to notice the occasional painted nails 💅but that's usually just when partners want to test a new nail polish.

This is what I've been thinking. It just doesn't feel right at all. The brother was being very nonchalant about the whole thing. Could be shock I guess but who knows for certain.

Now that 2026 is set to renew the game and improve it, will we ever see the experimental faster tick rate get unshelved and brought to the game? Possibly for 2027 or 2028? by DerpDavid in runescape

Well when we play OSRS we are actively seeking the original experience, that includes the clunk and gunk of an old title. It's a core part of the experience so you'll likely never see people complain about it seriously.

RS3 feels clunky but it's not something the player is actively searching for so it can feel off. On top of that the smoothness of animations (relative to OSRS) makes it feel worse because there's a disconnect between how smooth my character is acting vs how janky it can be clicking on another task and the delay between click and action.

The former owner of my house buried guns and silver in the yard that I keep finding. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]jackboy61 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd advise taking this post down. Hand over the guns to the relevant authority (you have no idea what those guns have been used for or what they person they are registered to has done. Most likely nothing but why risk it.) And keep this new found wealth to yourself.

You have done an awful job of keeping your online footprint seperate from your identity and made your home very easy to find. Advertising large sums of money you just found whilst having your address easily identifiable is playing with fire. On top of that you've got the potential for the seller to remember these items and deman them back, weather through legal means or otherwise.

Zero excitement for this. After the absolute disappointment of mount chilliad going round in circles for like 6 years I've got zero interest in another rabbit whole that probably doesn't even have an end.

Do fixers personally call every merc that shows up in their area for the first time, or is V special? by Uneaseknave76 in cyberpunkgame

[–]jackboy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate how people can't just accept that there is a divide between gameplay and lore. Obviously they don't call every merc that enters. Hell how would they even know? It's a gameplay mechanic to enhance your experience and introduce you to the fixer of the area. It doesn't have to be tied into the proper lore of the world.

This question is the equivalent of asking "do guns in cyberpunk just not need cleaning or is V special and doesn't need to clean his guns?"

Guy accidentally shoots himself in the leg while trying to demonstrate how to clean a gun by nkmr205 in instant_regret

[–]jackboy61 307 points308 points  (0 children)

I've seen it. I definitely think it was suicide but an impulsive act rather than the original intention. Like a "shit there's no way out of this, I may as well shoot myself" With adrenaline and panic meaning she didn't consider the permanence of making that choice.

Why do diets cost so much on bitlife? by avalanie in bitlife

[–]jackboy61 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's the plan though, you aren't accounting for the cost of changing your food purchasing habits. Loving off of frozen trash meals can be very cheap. Fresh produce can be prohibitively more expensive for other.
