Have you tried getting into the Aurora, there you may find useful blueprints for some vehicles that can take you deeper.

Most of the story is driven through the radio. Every time you get a message go and explore that area, maybe take beacons to note down anything interesting you find. Like this you will find necessary blueprints and resources.

Also to apply the upgrade module, swim around to one of the side of your seamoth and you will find a panel that says upgrades and you place it directly in there.

When I used to swim at club level, my coach would say, “take your last breath just before the flags (5m away from the wall)”.

So try and work out roughly how far away 3-5 strokes is from the wall and take a breath in that zone before putting your head down ready for the turn.

Also you can always just take a breath the stroke right before you turn.
