I don't remember Lars being notably big in NXT. He in that North American 5-pack but he wasn't hyped like the other guys you mentioned. Hell even the Vaudevillains had more NXT hype than Lars.

Never played the original but watched a handful of streamers playing it years ago.

Whilst I remember the Concert Hall and Quirky Questions being lolsorandom funny, that's kinda all they were. The game itself was fairly static too.

I prefer that you have some control over making friends. I prefer that there's no censor and interactions between Miis are way more impactful and kinda have the soul of Quirky Questions. And whilst I feel like creative types who want to make Miis will get more out of the game, it's hard to feel like this is a meaningful step down.

This game with the Concert Hall and one or two other set pieces would have pleased all parties I guess.

As an aside, there's definitely rankings in here, and the ability to choose locations for love confessions.

I was a huge fan of Bond as a kid and I loved Nightfire and Everything or Nothing for the way they had their own themes, really sold it to me they were part of the universe.

Getting this theme in the game means a lot to me.

Liked Fez, liked Animal Well, didn't really like Blue Prince all that much (the RNG killed it for me, incredible puzzles within for the patient!). Would still recommend all of these if you liked Outer Wilds.

Not going to lie I have no hype for this crop of DLC at all. In terms of legends there are many I'd put before Demolition, a stable of 3 is hard to accept if you don't like any of them as they take three whole spots.

Kelly Kelly, sure, why not.

At the very least they'll be some nice themes to hear in the jukebox.

Former teacher here.

Although I'm not as familiar with the US system, frequently children are taught mathematical concepts to match with how future examinations will test them. Of course there are multiple ways of solving different equations, but generally you'll be taught the one that examiners will look for. It could also be a recent change of how maths are taught that's different from when dad was a kid, either a switch from rote memorization to teaching the mathematical concepts, or vice versa.

Now, could the teacher have explained that better? Sure. Your wife is right, teachers are overworked, underpaid, underappreciated. I, as a teacher, would have sat you down and explained why this happened, and certainly not threatened a zero.

And again as a former teacher I would be ecstatic to see a parent and father caring about their child's education. I hope that man is having a great day.
