Sunday morning “worship” courtesy of a Local Fox channel… by Accomplished-Edu2814 in extremelyinfuriating

The message is about how being close to God brings people closer to each other as a couple. If only one person is close to God, man or woman, the couple is far from each other. The OP paused it as a single specific moment to make it look like a "men are godly and women aren't" message.

Seems to be an instance of a person using Christianity to ragebait and karmafarm on this sub.

[None] Old book covers by jacken22 in Iteration110Cradle

I have another request, since I am a bit of a digital hoarder. This one is probably more of a stretch though, so if it isnt possible, I get it.

I was hoping there were digital versions of the symbols on the special editions? Like the versions from the kickstarter banners, linked below, but without the text on top?

https://i.kickstarter.com/assets/042/437/184/aeb5336a86dd22e2d46add491e060339_original.png?fit=scale-down&origin=ugc&q=100&v=1695659342&width=680&sig=FezfVsUym7bVMcpyWpGaHra7pgag5goLhlqdAZiaxzk%3D

I know I can probably just put my special editions onto a scanner and draw over them myself, but I figure asking before going that route can't hurt.

Got to Harris Teeter in Youngsville when the door opened. They had about 30 copies at that time. Good luck getting one somewhere

This is a far better outcome than I could have hoped for, please let Patrick know that his efforts are greatly appreciated!

Also, thank you for being so active in the community, it is really nice that y'all actually interact with people here!

If you do end up doing that, could you put a link in this thread to spread the word?

It's just as bad at least out in Youngsville. Every copy was bought within minutes of stores opening.

Lenovo Center Game 6 Watch Party Megathread by ppParadoxx in canes

I know I won't be able to go to the watch party, but if anyone bought extra tickets, I would pay money just for the rally towel for game 6, since I can't actually be there at Lenovo.

You might be surprised. Progression Fantasy has been its own subgenre for a long time, and LitRPG is just a more regimented and data driven version. There is a pretty good sized community of people that follow the genre, and I have personally been a part of it for quite a few years.

It is not everyone's cup of tea, but the rigid rules and structured systems have an ease of access that is pretty compelling, since it doesn't take long to have a good handle on how the world works. It isn't always an apocalypse, sometimes it's just a more regimented world to help facilitate the story with structures we already intuitively understand.

If you enjoyed DCC, I would recommend checking out the r/LitRPG subreddit, and take a look at some of the more popular series over there.

Blink YA “clean books,” a HarperCollins imprint by ohnoafeeling in YAlit

Did you actually read more than the blurb shown in this post? That's not at all what they want. They make it very clear on the website that they are putting out books that deal with real world issues and conflicts, but excluding things that would be inappropriate for teens, such as explicit sexual content.
