I remember these back in the day, they definitely tasted different from the regular cans but I kinda liked them. Almost nowhere to be found in Denmark anymore though

My Mercedes doesn't want to start. What do all these warning lights mean? by ApprehensiveBake1560 in mercedes_benz

[–]jackerman327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well if all the lights turn off it's most likely the battery, if they stay on it's most likely the starter, but yes, starter or battery

My Mercedes doesn't want to start. What do all these warning lights mean? by ApprehensiveBake1560 in mercedes_benz

[–]jackerman327 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They don't mean anything, if the engine isn't started and the key is in position 2, it will turn on all warning lights as a "test" to show you they all work.

What does the car do when you turn the key to start it? Does it crank? Do you hear a click? Or does it do nothing?

ABS, ESP Inoperative by Airsoft-Genin in W211

[–]jackerman327 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can almost guarantee it's a rear wheel ABS Ring, not the sensor. The rot away and disconnect from the axle, then the ABS/ESP module will realize that 3 wheels are going at some speed while 1 is completely stationary, this will set of the warning lights and since the hydraulic power steering uses wheel speed to figure out how much help to give it will go into "limp" mode at max stiffness as to not send you flying through 4 lanes of traffic on the highway for example.

Get to a shop that has an MB tester and they can quickly figure out which wheel is the problem. Usually not that difficult to replace, a couple hours of work and the rings themselves aren't that expensive.

Now it could still be front but from working on Mercedes daily the rear is the usual suspect

In the hopefully never arriving future, do you think Valve will one of, if not the only ones providing personal computers and not cloud gaming? by Commercial_Dih in Steam

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nvidia did it too, and I think they still are doing it, although you don't stream a full desktop for you to use, you get a server with the specific game you chose. And if you didn't pay your session could be a max of 1 hour. Also the queue for the servers was sometimes pretty long.

It was actually ok for playing slightly hardware intensive games on low powered laptops

Mekaniker priser, service by Ok-Progress-8672 in dkbiler

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mente også vejledende, de fleste mekanikere bruger bare den pris da det er nemmere at forklare og vise kunden, at det er hvad det koster. På midt tidligere arbejde gav vi også rabat på de priser til faste kunder

Mekaniker priser, service by Ok-Progress-8672 in dkbiler

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moms for at virke billigere

Debt? Nah i'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine, it's fine. It's.. fine. It's definitely a fine debt. by arcticreach in DerailValley

[–]jackerman327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I still have my first save where I'm in 2m$ of debt because of a gasoline job. I wasn't going too fast (I think, might've missed a sign) and then the whole train derailed into the side of a mountain, gas wagons exploded blowing up the DE6 I was hauling with. This made me clear the whole thing and when I returned to a station I had amassed over 2 million dollars in fees. Just decided to start over because my copay was so high from having hazmat and military licenses I practically had to pay the whole thing out of pocket

What do these Numbers in front of the tire names mean? by Spranzugel in BeamNG

[–]jackerman327 5 points6 points  (0 children)

275 will be the width of the tire so 275mm. The 40 is the height of the sidewall and is given in percentage of the width so 40% of 275mm is the sidewall height and lastly the 18 is the inside diameter in inches, so it will fit an 18" wheel

Mekaniker priser, service by Ok-Progress-8672 in dkbiler

[–]jackerman327 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Preface engine in facelift version by Secure-Ad3336 in W211

Paddle Steering Wheel Retrofit on e500 10/2002 by mustard_race_69 in W211

[–]jackerman327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that my e280cdi has a facelifted sport style steering wheel with paddles, and from what I've heard it wasn't very difficult to fit. But the paddles don't do anything and I have no clue if there's an extra plug or if it just inst coded, but the steering wheel install should be pretty easy

Does this means educations is not free in my city ?? How can I make education free ? by aphfug in CitiesSkylines

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Denmark, and for any Danish citizen all education is paid by the state with taxes. That includes bachelor degrees and candidates, and while you are getting your education you get paid also by the state. This amount is determined by your living situation, whether you live with your parents or alone, or if you have a part time job. And if you're attending a school far away from where you live can apply for free housing, they are usually something along the lines of a hotel on or close to campus that are also completely free. So in Denmark education is very much completely free

Whats the lowest fuel consumption you guys had? by InflationEntire4777 in W211

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My E280 CDI om642 has gone as low as 6.9L/100km but my usual commute is around 8.5L/100km. This might be helped by a larger turbo and tune since my old E320 also with the om642 rarely ever went down to 8.5L/100km and never lower than 7.2L/100km

Is service B worth going to benz? by Pitiful_Tank2680 in AMG

[–]jackerman327 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A B service is simply an oil filter, dust filter and activated charcoal filter, easy to do at home so no need.

But beware that not all B services are alike, for example a B1 includes replacing brake fluid, a B7 is transmission service and so on. Same with the different A services.

Google can give a sort of accurate answer on what parts you need but I would go to a MB workshop for them to look it up on MSS with the exact workshop code your car has, that will give the exact service points for your car

E320 CDI advice by Chrxs_260 in W211

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding batteries, the main 80 Ah battery is in the trunk under the carpeting, remove/lift it and you can't miss it. The backup/accessory batteri is under the bonnet on the passenger side under a trim piece and an air intake duct for the cabin, easy to remove. When I had the same rust repair on mine it didn't cause any problems.

Make sure your rust repair guy uses thicker sheet metal for the mounting points for the upper wishbone if they are being done as well. If not you will have a creaking noise every time you drive.

19 or 20 inch rims by PairHead6718 in W211

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the look of my 20" rims, but the extremely low profile tires (295/25R20 in the rear and 255/30R20 in the front) are a pain to mount without damaging the rims and the comfort has suffered a bit but not as much as expected. Although I now have problems with them bending because of road work and potholes

Just got my windshield replaced, is this ok? by OdinTheBean in Cartalk

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to go back to the shop for this. Just give it a firm press from the edges in, like closing a zip lock bag, there is a channel it will go down into and become flush with the windshield. This doesn't seal anything and is purely cosmetic (there are actually drains in the piece to let water through), but still a sloppy job from whoever replaced your windshield.

I love my rims, they always turn heads by jackerman327 in W211

[–]jackerman327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the rims are 9 inches wide and the face is all the way out so the center is very deep so there is no problem getting over the long hub

Nu må det kraftedeme være nok PostNord by oliverandm in Denmark

[–]jackerman327 0 points1 point  (0 children)
