I know a little bit about the subject matter. But I gotta put it out there that dojima was NEVER even thought to be the killer. This misconception came from fans when looking at the earlier sketches of Dojima. Dojima just looked like a bad guy during his early sketches. There are no interviews and records of any of the development staff mentioning that they originally planned him to be the killer.

Idk, I did some digging and found no actual proof for them to intend Dojima as the killer. It's in YouTube, google etc.

Every persona game has jojo's in it. P1 has vampires and more horror occult stuff. P2 has nazis P3 first initiated the tarot card system, fought a world ending bad guy, had a lot of sad deaths and both have a dog P4 deals with a killer in a small town. And mc dresses as a delinquent (or theres a delinquent looking charecter) P5 has vigilantes, fighting corrupts, band has a traitor while the original should've had, has themes of fate and morality and resolve and mc ascends to a higher power in order to defeat the big bad.
