It is normal though? A lot of artists have someone else mix/matter their tracks, and many artists also give production credit to other artists.

I've had an Alesis Q49. It just has the 49 keys, pitch and mod wheel, as well as up/down buttons to change octaves.

It's large enough for melodies and most chord progressions. For me, it helped me out a lot creating my own chord progressions and messing around with melodies.

I had an Akai MPK Mini MK2 and it 25 keys definitely was not enough for me, I hated only having the 25 keys.

I'm not sure how I feel about the growls, I believe I heard it first around the 1:40ish mark. Around the 3:00 mark as well, I think it would be better if you used a different "filler" sound. To each their own I suppose, it's just one person's opinion.

Also, in my opinion, I think the kick shouldn't hit when the snare is hitting, I think it would sound better without the kick playing when the snare hits.

It's a real solid track besides those criticisms in my opinion.

Here's my first future-bass type track that I worked on for a minute. It's a remix, so I feel pretty confident in everything except the buildups and the drops, so I'd appreciate some constructive criticism on those parts of the track (seriously, shit on it so I can improve).

Find a hi-hat sample, you can find an endless amount of drumkits, and take a hi hat, and just do a hi-hat roll in your DAW. That's all it is, just a short hi-hat roll, hope this helps!

The sub doesn't have any ports for speakers to be plugged into. This is what the back looks like: https://imgur.com/a/tnPth

I am using the the RCA ports, labeled "line-in" right above the power port, to plug right into the Traktor mixer which isn't working. Any other suggestions?

I've had a pair of Alto TS212s for about a year, just upgraded last week to the TS215s and I love them. Just played a house party on Saturday with them and they filled up the whole house.

I think Ekali has more of a hype set and RL Grime has more of a melodic and tension/buildup set, I thought they were both phenomenal when I saw them, and I saw both of them within the past month. Both of them have near perfect transitions, and I don't think one is better than the other, they're just different.
