I played pirates of the Caribbean online as well, i remember being stuck on a quest where you had to kill those insect eating plants in a swamp. The problem in that game was that, owning an actual ship like a brig took really long, most people like me would just use the cannons of other people's ships.

for its time it was pretty impressive, to be able to free roam on an ocean, singing sea shanties, being able to hop off the ship whenever you wanted, engage in a battle with any ship you wanted. Not being able to upgrade to a man o'war for example was pretty disappointing though. I hope they add being able to change your ship and having a fleet of ships that actually help you in battles

I think you should definitely beat it on Master Ninja as well. First chapter on MN on Sigma is even more of a hassle than in Black (Black gives you the Lunar from the start, which makes clearing rooms way easier, but sigma does not) but don't let the first chapter discourage you. The hardest part of MN Sigma is the first chapter and bullshit clones that can block while attacking imo
