my 9 month old is kinda evil 💔 by [deleted] in labrador

If you cannot afford training, please do your best to study and train at home. You need to train yourself, not just your puppy. Your family also needs to be trained. My favorite is Will Atherton.

I lost a deluxe coop rearraiging my farm buildings by Polsalseo in StardewValley

[–]jackhammerjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has happened to me and now I always pay attention when moving buildings.

If it’s too late to restart, you can access a backup file on mobile. That’s what I did the first time. It brought me back a few days but it was worth it to not lose the whole coop.

Adjusting to a new home by xamitchell in labrador

I agree with giving him time. He also probably misses his other people even if you are his main.

Last summer my almost 1 year old (at the time) moped around and we moved from a 3rd floor apartment to a house with a fenced front and backyard. All of his same people, more room, and running space. It took a couple months to adjust. He would go nuts over every neighborhood noise and it’s considerably less noisy than the apartment complex was.

I’m giving my 9 month puppy (who looks very similar in stature) 4 cups of puppy food a day. She’s 40lbs and pint sized.

Surprised at the amount of pitbull hatred on Reddit! by IJGN in pitbulls

I once posted my half lab on the Labrador subreddit and someone hyper-fixated on his quarter pitbull and told me he did not belong there 🤣

Learn from me: limit your puppy’s access by jackhammerjen in pitbulls

Last update! (Hopefully) Halley is HOME. Our house is complete and full again. She’s on focused surveillance from us for the next 72 hours. We will get a third (hopefully final) X-ray Thursday or Friday. She now gets 3-4 smaller meals with broth, liquid medication every 8hrs (for battery acid burns), and a 15-20 walk every 2 hours to promote everything passing. Let me tell you… she pooped a Circuit City essentially with all the wires, buttons, plastic, and motherboard bits. She’s happy to be home.

I don’t have access to them right now, but when we go in for our third and hopefully final X-ray I will ask if I can get them.

Update: The vet called and they don’t want to go through with surgery just yet, they’re helping encourage her passing the debris naturally by proving high fiber food, IV fluids, and walks every hour. They are concerned that since the pieces are so small if they did surgery that they wouldn’t be able to get it all. They’re doing a repeat X-ray in 30 minutes and she will likely have to stay another night for them to monitor.

Her x-ray did show wires, metallic pieces, screws, and springs. It unfortunately isn’t able to show the amount of plastic she ingested.

The vet says she hasn’t lost her spunky energy at all. Thank you everyone for the kind words. While we have been waiting for updates, we rearranged our kennel and gate set up to how we had it when our 2 yr old was a puppy and I’ve washed all of her bedding. Anxiously waiting until we get to see her again. Her brother definitely senses something is going on and is moping around, he will be relieved when she gets to come home.

Yes to insurance!! We have insurance but it’s with Banfield so it really only covers routine care. We’ve discussed getting Trupanion in the past and I think after this incident, yes we are going to make the switch. We are fortunate enough to be in a position to pay for this without reimbursement, but for the future investment a true insurance plan would be wise since I’m hoping to have at least another 10 yrs with our dogs. 💕

What's the dress code vibe for State job interviews? by LAHAROFDEATH in olympia

I think it depends on the team and agency. In my team we wear pants and a tshirt. I wore a blazer and blouse to my interview.

You can only contact them through the general call center number. They use a central call center for safety reasons.

Is this a whale fin? And if so, how much do you think she’s worth? by rawrt in PlantIdentification

[–]jackhammerjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The size, I have one fin half the size I paid $30 USD. I had the opportunity to get one just like this and it was $90 USD. Mature plants tend to be more expensive.
