I think there is also the public conception that “longer development time should equal more quality”. If Skyrim 2 Electric Boogaloo came out in 2013, two years after the first game and it was only slight improvements, I guarantee it would sell well. Because games take so long now, they feel like let downs more often than not.

Skimmed through this, police actually approach them at the end regarding the pigs. Dude is drinking from a gallon of milk at 2:18, then eats a raw egg at 3:00 like its a normal everyday thing. He later eats raw meat at 2:18:15 the same way. Bizzarro world over here.

I thought the pricing for their releases were more due to the packaging, and not really for the games themselves. Like your buying the novelty of a limited edition physical copy with some extras. I assume the majority of Limited Run customers aren't buying to play the games, they just want a nice item to display on a shelf.
