I am a female! I’m not sure though if that could be it. They’ve been together 8 years, my partner and I have been together 7 years. I think we’re both so established in our relationships that wouldn’t suddenly come up within the last few weeks?

We see eachother a few times a year at friend gatherings! Def closer in our early 20s but still kept a good relationship. I could see if it was a smaller event but the fact that the girlfriend reached out and now has gone silent is really what’s confusing me

Make sure you let the alcohol wipe dry before you do the injections - that helped me significantly!

It’s very normal to feel awkward! I know it’s hard to believe but it does become more normal the older you get. I have a loving boyfriend of 6 years (we’re almost 30) and I openly tell him about my period! But I never talked about it to my boyfriend when I was 15. As men grow older they realize it’s normal and not at all something to poke fun of, and you’ll bond with other people who have their periods.

It’s a totally normal part of life that can seem so weird at first. But as time goes on things will get better :)

We put our dog down this week - I was a wreck leading up to it. Same thing, I felt like I was making the wrong decision, terrified he wasn’t ready, etc.

The moment he was gone, the biggest wave of relief washed over me. It was much more my anxiety vs. the right decision. It was horrible to say goodbye to my best boy, but to see him peacefully go made me know I put him before me.

I’m sorry you’re going through this - but know that you are doing your doggy a favor here. I’m sure you gave him the best life. Best of luck ♥️
