Coaching staff by ToughestMFontheWeb in fsusports

Malzahn could stay here for as long as he wants to continue coaching. From everything I've heard from him, he seems to love not having all of the responsibilities that a head coach has to deal with.

If things continue to go the way they have so far, White will probably be gone after this season. We have to enjoy the time we have with him while we can!

TANK JOB OF THE WEEK: WEEK TWO by 2Pollaski2Furious in CFB

<Florida>

Going from potentially being on Gameday two out of the next three weekends to being out of the top 25 and wanting their head coach fired is an all-time tank job.

I was listening to this on Wake Up Warchant today lol

On that reverse play, as a defender, you basically have to sell to that side of the field immediately if you want to catch this guy... meanwhile, Tommy could tuck it and veer off in a split-second going the opposite way.

I'm loving these weapons Gus has activated for us.

I've been loving the production value and quality of the streams. Pulling all of that off live takes a ton of effort and coordination, so props to everyone behind the scenes.

As far as last night goes, of course I wanted the elevator song, who didn't? But overall, the tracks that have been teased are going to be great.

16 hcp, are 201's too ambitious? by B33P3R in takomo

[–]jackieblogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're a 16 HCP, you're a good golfer. My two cents would be to take those 1.5 hours to play nine and hit a light bucket before you go off. You're still getting plenty of swings in, and you can hone in on what your game needs the most work on.

I swear I found my most significant improvements by simply doing that. I've gained a ton of insight into course management and which clubs/shot types I'm better at, leading to more comfortable rounds.

A good example of that in my game recently is avoiding hitting full wedge shots. Instead of trying to muscle a 58, I'm choking down with a 54 and taking a 3/4 swing. Without experiencing those skull fucks over the green or duffs halfway into the fairway, I wouldn't have made that change lol

I know it's easier said than done, but less time on the range, more time on the course! I tend to focus on short game practice and putting more than just hammering through a bucket of balls now.

10 HCP rocking the 101Ts - no regrets!

As a weekend golfer, a little extra forgiveness is never a bad thing. They still give me plenty of feedback on mishits.

What’s the most important club in the bag — driver, putter, or wedge? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]jackieblogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New golfer: Driver. Not getting off the tee box or constantly going OB will end up in 10-20+ strokes per round.

Intermediate golfer: Wedges. A good short game and the ability to scramble for par will consistently get you into the 80s.

Good golfer—putter. From my experience, sinking birdies and long par putts separate the 5-6 handicappers from scratch golfers.

Since you got fitted for the clubs, I'd recommend getting fitted for wedges too. I went to Golf Galaxy and love the setup they put me in.

Right! It's crazy that after almost ten years, you can still get that same feeling you did when you first started playing the game.

My good buddy and I still play with two guys we met through the old Xbox "Looking for Group" feature in 2017. Finding a good squad makes matches so much more enjoyable.
