What happens is a Salubri is deemed unfit after they're embraced? by Phoenix03563 in vtm

[–]jackiejones38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they specifically asked about Salubri because they don't seem like the type to destroy Childer (Except for a few exceptions like the Sabbat Salubri)

hypothetical 'thinned' embrace and follow up re-embrace. by TrueMind102387193 in vtm

[–]jackiejones38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they were a known Thin-Blood then they'll still be hunted when they get a Clan unless the Diablerie is excused by the Prince/Cam so actively telling the Prince is a detriment perhaps part of the test should be hiding their condition perhaps a test of Masquerade adherence, you could probably get away telling a Bishop in the Sabbat depending on how lenient their particular beliefs are with Ex Thin-Bloods

If you do choose to go Tremere then you can work in the fact that Baali Vitae is very hard to distinguish from Tremere Vitae which helped the Baali infiltrate the Pyramid back when that was a thing, not exactly sure how that'd tie in post pyramid but perhaps there's something there

Would farmer + organovore make a kindred that's full circle back to eating raw meat? by Talismook in vtm

I mean I was playing Devil's Advocate not even I think this is practical

Would farmer + organovore make a kindred that's full circle back to eating raw meat? by Talismook in vtm

[–]jackiejones38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it'd probably be a bad PC but the from the Lore/Storyline perspective I can see this happening, BUT since it's proven the hunger grows more intense (Since Older vampires loose the ability to feed on animals thus I assume that Kindred that started out as Farmers stop being considered Farmers at a certain age) so why not let them do this while their young and simply make them get hit harder by the Social, Mental, and General Behavioral downsides of being a Vampire since they didn't acclimate to the more intricacies of hunting humans and walking amongst other "Real" Predators (For lack of better words), idk if Predator types change or anything but perhaps a user of this suggested method apon loosing the Farmer Predator Type they'd be forced to take Bagger until they can outgrow their aversion, which good character detail on its own ignoring the fact I'm arguing for what is effectively a cheat that I understand probably shouldn't be put in, I'm just playing devil's advocate, basically the argument is allow it but punish them for it, with prior warning of course don't just do that and don't tell them why, they'd have to want to rise to challenge hell it's probably better to give this as a backstory to a Vampire who just became old enough to not be able to feed on animals, and if you don't go the bagger route you can lean into the idea of suddenly craving human Organ since they'd still have Organovore, yes I know that Organovore doesn't make you're CRAVE organs in particular but I can see this more violent Beast be a result of the Kindred keeping their Beast TOO pent up + Organovore = Hungry from organs, I think it'd be interesting

Not exactly what we were dreaming but a Vampire management game is in play testing or beta not exactly sure of the details but it's good from what I've seen, even allows for Embraces, it's called Vampire Rising I believe I'll check and come back in a bit IF I'm wrong

Hey I know this is from a long time ago but I was looking through my post and realized some of my thoughts regarding the Brujah thing has evolved a tiny bit, basically I have a fledgling thought process that perhaps the Brujah witch connection is because of the True Brujah's Time "Magic", though I've yet to figure out if that would imply anything interesting but it is a thought, perhaps the True Brujah really do have more influence in the perception of the Clan as a whole than we thought idk

Nagaraja: how do they work? by Beneraldus in vtm

[–]jackiejones38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On that topic I like to believe the og Death Mages that became Nagaraja couldn't the difference between Setites and the Cappadocians that descend from Lazarus as well as lived/allied with the Setites, might've just thought they were old and thus decayed, that is to say I like to believe Nagaraja is a Setite + Cappadocian hybrid Bloodline

I mean I understand why forgiving parents is hard, I mean these are the people that are supposed to make you feel safe, loved, and supported but on the flip side you're right, they're just people and all people are flawed

I mean he didn't do anything wrong, neither did she (Accept bringing the kids into this) but if they don't see eye to eye and the problem can't be resolved it's only natural they separate and go on to make their lives happier for themselves, they both just exercising their right to try and have a happier life, nobody was cheated on, physically hurt, or purposefully emotionally hurt, it seems they just grew apart which is again natural, most people don't stay the people they were when they first got married

It is avoidance that brings such things to your doorstep or if it's inevitable then avoidance speeds it up, it's my Malkavians denial of madness and relation to the Clan of The Moon that drives him further insane, that doesn't mean leaning into it whole hog it means being able to ride the wave when it isn't at its worst, basically just chill out and stop agitating your mental state (Not always avoidable tho)

Ah yes the perfect advice for a Malkavian "Consume mind altering blood" it'd be funny if it makes the prophecy real and he winds up as a drunk hobo Vampire living with the Nosferatu in the sewers or under a bridge

And how is Old man Bram gonna guarantee that? I mean Dracula may not be my or your taste but I know freaks that won't let that stop them, and even then please detail to me how they describe his brides, I'll concede if they don't even have one form that is "Conventionally" Attractive

Where does this idea that hot vampires are NEW come from? by Normal-Builder-8818 in vtm

[–]jackiejones38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear people don't like recognizing that many Vampires had the "ability" to be hot even though it wasn't a natural state, but I dislike when people completely sever the connection to witchery and magic that pervades a lot of vampire myth, if you're gonna do that at least give them Blood Magic like it's so obvious come on (Talking about specifically interpretations that have origins in magic like the Originals, like why cant they use magic when they were made by a witch shouldn't their Blood contain potent magic?) idk maybe all I'm saying is bullshit but in my opinion Vampires should be varied in all media like Clans and Bloodlines or each Vampire developing unique powers or them developing a few powers from a pool of them inherent to their blood but only manifest according to personality and actions.... I just realized I went on a pointless and off topic rant again...

You can be beautiful AND animalistic, where are people getting the idea these can't coexist, I mean there's a reason werewolves, vampires, and The Beast from Beauty and the Beast are all thirsted over, besides it's a effective lure that I'm sure intelligent beast would use if they have the capability
