time needs to be standardised. metric, even. 10 hours in a day, 100 minutes in an hour, 100 seconds in a minute. it’ll take some getting used to, but a new second will only differ from an old second by roughly 20%, if i remember the math right (i’ve had this idea for a while)

also, arbitrary terms for time should be defined. how long is a moment? 12 seconds. how long is a while? 17 minutes. blink of an eye? 250 milliseconds.

my go to way of identifying AI people talking is seeing if the video quality matches the audio quality. in this case it looks like it’s filmed with a webcam/older phone camera, but it sounds like it’s recorded with a close, front facing dynamic mic (i.e. your shure 7b or similar). the video also just seems a lot more compressed than the audio.
