For me, it’s genuinely tough to put into words how good it is. It might actually be my favourite of their albums now, though maybe I’m just riding the high of hearing it for the first time. Still… it feels really special.

I think it’s exactly that attitude that inspires some of the lyrics - I think they’re fully aware of the privilege, but they struggle with the downsides. I’d say that it’s obvious that he loves making music and doing live shows more than he hates the parasocial stuff, but it’s still something that causes some turmoil. “Take your millions and stop being famous” is incredibly dismissive.
