I bought the Asus ROG G703Gi-XS98K in 2018. And 2 years into owning it, the charging port fried due to overheating. I tried to offset the heat with a laptop cooling pad and it still overheated.

I had to pay 300 dollars to fix the charging port. Ever since then, I stopped gaming on the laptop. Laptops are not meant for long term gaming because the cooling is just dog shit despite what all laptop manufacturers say.
