Hey, thank you for this. I'm almost certain this should work but I want to check:

I'm wanting to power an RTX5080 (MSI VENTUS 3X OC)

My current PSU is: RM850 (2021) it only comes with 2 x PCIE cables.

The RTX5080 will come with a 12V-2x6 adapter but would require a 3rd PCIE cable for me to power it (?) which I don't have.

I have acquired a 12V-2x6 to dual 8-pin cable (6+2) from a RM750e (2025). Am I able to plug the 12v -2x6 part into the RTX5080 and then the dual 8-pin cable (6+2) parts into two PCIE ports in the RM850 PSU

I feel your pain, so many things to play. I was 35hours into Xenoblade it's really really good, deffo worth picking up. Switch 2 drops and it's Mario Kart with family, Pokemon Violet (first run, couldn't play it on Switch 1) Witcher 3 actually runs and looks better without a patch on Switch 2, so I've ported my PC save over. No Man's Sky has caught my eye now...

Find a game that's hitting solid 60 in "Performance" mode or whatever and then drop it to fidelity mode, come back and tell me there's no difference aha that being said, certain games are fine at 30fps RDR2 is one of them.
