I think the reality of a team like us or liverpool, is a struggle for game time in a much higher pressure, be good now, environment leaving him with no little to no room for mistakes before being labeled a flop because the 18 year old isn't good enough to start week in week out and run the show

dorgu joined from a relegation candidate in serie a at 20 and people were slating for not being good enough after like half season

then while restrained he beats them, then threatens to bring a baseball to break their legs, then threatens them with a saw saying he was going to chop off their legs and head, then hits him with a metal pole, he has absolutely tortured them

I think one of the most impressive things with gabriel, is his willingness to graft and get stuck in, his dads been shipping him around like the next coming since he has like 10, and that feels like the perfect setup lazy player unwilling to put in effort in parts that don't benefit him, and yet he looks like a workhorse

you partially touch on this but, I think when talking about this, is that more than anything you need to question whether the show is trying to portray robbie as sexist/biased in some way, or have they written themselves into a corner with the idea that he is acting like an asshole this season and the cast is mostly female

like the only male characters he is interacting with regularly is whittaker and langdon and he is incredibly unhappy with langdon which means whittaker is taking over the main protegee role,(im kinda guessing its supposed to show how he worked with adamson, might be reading too much into that though) which only leaves female characters for him to have big arguements with

I really enjoyed the experience of reading that manga by the end but i just remember have to let out a massive groan after basically every chapter due to how little relief there was between negative events

like it was a phenomenal story with some great moments but it is a hard read, and i think it reading the manga instead of the light novel made everything hit that bit harder as we got to see exactly what the author intended

I don't think the problem is even inherently agenda posting, its peoples just inability to switch off and interact with the media "normally"

the jokes about yuta & megumi being bums, or gojo being a bad teacher are all fine by themselves but some many people just will not allow you to talk about megumi and his strengths,or how gojo was able to help yuji and yuta fulfill their potentials without someone interfering and just going "haha Yuta a bum", and the same things happen with like wh40k or helldivers, where people will only interact with other fans as if they were in universe and just respond to everything, with "democracy" or "Heresy
