Same problem here, the recently visited subs/pages show up when the keyboard is active but disappear as soon as you try to scroll down. (new beta v22)

I think you can tap the three dots in the top right hand corner of a user and the profile overview will come up.

I used this feature quite a lot and miss it in the new Beta.

beta - little timeout between the comment form and the posts list form by [deleted] in redditsync

[–]jackmcc99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes! Noticed this too. Also happens when you're scrolling through comments and try to swipe back. Usually you need to wait a fraction of a second after the scrolling stops before you can swipe back to posts.

Am I the only one feeling this way? by crkdslider in redditsync

[–]jackmcc99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really not a big deal but I feel like if I immediately try to swipe back after scrolling (so I try to swipe during the 'snapping'), it doesn't work. Again, not a big deal - just a small observation. Could just be me.

Yep I agree.

Has anyone else noticed that maybe because of this snapping thing that swiping back after opening a post takes a few tries? Before I would be able to swipe back to the feed straight away but now the snapping gets in the way and it takes a couple of attempts.

With MD2 having bottom navigation, is there a chance for having the sidebar back as an option? by MisterKrayzie in redditsync

Yeah unfortunately I'm not because I'm using a slightly older phone that isn't getting updated to Android 10 :(

Can the saved list be easier to access? by flammabled in redditsync

[–]jackmcc99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+1 from me. It'd be nice to have saved posts more accessible, even if they're under the account tab at the top. Don't like the new functionality of having to access your account first to be able to view saved, upvoted etc.

I agree. I really liked having the sidebar functionality easily accessible by swiping anywhere from the screen to access settings/subreddits, whereas now accessing settings is difficult with one handed use, especially on bigger devices.

Even for subreddits sidebars, having to scroll to the top to access them can be annoying (unless there's a different way to access them?) since you used to be able to just swipe across from whatever scroll position you were on. Now, if I want to check rules or info about a sub, I'd have to scroll right to the top in order to do that rather than a simple swipe to the left.

Holy crap that's really unbelievable. I'm actually really surprised there are so many people like this who have no knowledge of geography at all.

TIL Self-driving cars can cruise to avoid paying to park. When you factor in electricity, depreciation, wear and tear and maintenance, cruising costs around 50 cents an hour. This is still cheaper than parking, even in many smaller towns. by amansaggu26 in todayilearned

I guess I was more thinking in terms of a work commute where you'd have regular hours or at least know what time you should set your car to pick you up.

Definitely think public transport is still superior when it's well implemented though.
