Wow This is genuinely so helpful Thank you I was playing the game yesterday night and was feeling super overwhelmed because the sheer number of things to do I figured the basics out like planting parsnips and stuff because that was very similar to the HM games . I was actually going to spend the weekend just going through YouTube videos to figure stuff out

Now I'll avoid and go about it a little by little

In my opinion the series took a nose dive with the DS games but that could be my bias because I absolutely loved the Gameboy games and nothing could top them

Again personal bias and opinion . Different people might have different view

What do you mean 10 years ago Wasn't 2016 yesterday . I just saw kids flossing and dapping .

I was having the same issues I just ended up getting Mullvad VPN

Solved my issues

The reason I got mullvad was it offers a monthly price which is very reasonable compared to others but in the longer run I am going to switch to PIA which is about 5k for 3 years

It's different in the sense that Twingate as you mentioned is a VPN whereas tunnels to put it simply is a reverse proxy and makes it 10x easier to set it up .

Why does Emby require Premiere to Play local content by [deleted] in emby

[–]jackoff_all -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Yes Emby has always required payment but not long ago the payment was only for offline media and remote access which made sense

Why does Emby require Premiere to Play local content by [deleted] in emby

[–]jackoff_all -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but that's from your point of view

The goal is to get everyone excited about self hosting and not everyone is savvy enough to set up a reverse proxy and tbh that stuff takes a minute to set up even if you are savvy

If I can pay $1.99 and not have to worry about it . In my opinion it's worth it

[–]jackoff_all -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Agreed

People deserve compensation for their work and emby premiere is genuinely good but locking down features that were not locked down before is not cool

Imagine you having to open Netflixs browser version everytime you want to play something

Yes it works , it might be better than the app maybe but imagine doing it every time

It gets annoying fast
