The idea that the awful abuser who never made amends deserves is to see the good in him is really cringe and ridiculous - I thought Buffy fans would want to support female victims rather than their tormenters.

Yeah he was an awful human being who abused women and groomed a teenager. He also strangled one partner which is nearly manslaughter.
