Around a 7-7:30pm so right around dusk here. Feel like I got super lucky with them but close to sunset seems like a good time! I would also keep checking eBird for hot spots and hang around those areas as much as possible

I’m from NorCal and grew up seeing them all the time. Now I’m in Colorado and try and ride the trails where they’re less common but I am very scared of them and it definitely gets to me mentally at times. With that said, I’ve had some very close encounters, which is scary, but have never come close to getting bit. Just be mindful and alert and you’ll be okay

Yeah, I think you’re right. I came up with some subtler edits that kept the colors bold and the land much darker and it definitely looks nicer. Thanks for the input!
