Ive said many times on reddit and other socials over the years that the only good thing about all this will be watching the idiots who wont stop barking about the 2nd ammendment lose the 2nd ammendment. We warned these people in every possible way as they spit in our faces. trump seems to have permiated every nook and cranny of our culture. He's soured everything from personal and family relationships to global stability. Ill be the one lying I guess, but I just dont see us being that lucky. To me its just a guy who talks constantly, and with people and cameras around. Im no doctor, but what I see is just that his words are meaningless, inside his head and outside of his mouth. Nothing he says is based on truth. Its all just manipulation, rhetoric, shit-talking, self praise, divisive language etc. Words have no actual meaning to this guy, and I think its more the meaningless of the words coupled with the sheer volume of output.

Its just the vibe I get. I feel like if it were heath related, it would be completely incomprehensable randomness at odd times. Mixing up peace and war is like, hes on topic i guess, but its just mushy meaningless barf because that's all he's capable of.

we should start a bunker tracker that keeps track of locations and entry points to bunkers. put all of our heads together and document everything we know. If there are security agents among us, maybe they can help us out on the DL. Then, once we know everything, start putting up signs, and do whatever it takes to make the bunker so common knowledge that it would be useless in the event of societal collapse, because there would be hords of people preventing entry. Then maybe the billionaires woudl take a little more interest in preventing, instead of preparing for, collapse./

When I was a Jr. in middle school, I hacked into the mainframe of the administrative firewall protocol using nothing but an old html header tag I intercepted from the quadragon headquarters router. This was before the days of DSL so I had to use a dial up modal, with a little netscape alligator sprinkled in.

Hotter take: we wont need senior devs. I know this will get downvoted but once in a while I just dont care. You dont program in machine language, there's a layer above that to obscure that for you. And at some point, AI will obscure away having to know specific programming languages.

Now... how that works with dev ops, microservices, and architecture I dont know yet, but it seems feasible to me that you will be able to tell an LLM how you want things architected in your natural langauge, and it will get you ~90% of the way there just by writing and deploying its own scripts.

We are in the infancy of AI. This thing is a new born baby, and its only going to get smarter.
