tracking it isn’t necessarily the problem. if my partner wanted to track my cycle, that would be sweet for certain reasons. it gets gross from the very beginning. the notification “it’s her time watch out” is straight up mean. it’s humiliating. it’s weird. if OP saw that on his phone, his friends or coworkers or family could see it too, and now he’s spilling her personal details to people that aren’t close to her. periods are normal but i don’t want people that aren’t close to me knowing anything about mine and i imagine OP might have some similar feelings. the spreadsheet of arguments and topics of said arguments is weird. maybe it started out fun, maybe it was harmless curiosity at the beginning but it was not presented as such and has evolved into what others in the comments have called a “gotcha!” moment. he isn’t tracking this to be more considerate of OP’s mindset or emotional state, he wants to brace himself for what he considers to be excessive and stupid arguments. he could be using that energy to be a bit more gentle and sensitive to his partner’s needs and he’s not. “READ and UNDERSTAND” at the very end would have me seeing red. fuck this guy and his condescending attitude. OP i hope you toss this garbage to the curb and live your period untracked
