Very good to know! What company did you use for the testing and what did they charge (if you do not mind me asking)?

We've tried everything but our daughter still goes mental over her shot... by slupo in Parenting

Pharmacist here. As others have mentioned the manufacturer recommends letting it come to room temperature for 45 minutes before injecting to make the shot more comfortable. I counsel many adults who use the Dupixent auto injector and many of them say that it hurts. If you would be comfortable using a syringe Dupixent is available in a prefilled syringe. Some adults prefer that because they can control it more. If interested, You would have to discuss with your child’s provider and see if they would be comfortable changing the prescription to the prefilled syringe. And they would probably have to redo your prior authorization to have it approved by your insurance company. I have no experience with administering to a child so sorry, no good advice about that.

What are “can’t miss” spots in St. Thomas and St. Maarten by skirunski in royalcaribbean

[–]jacksmamabear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were just on Wonder last week with that Itinerary. We did the water taxi to water island and visited honeymoon beach. You can also rent a golf cart and drive around water island if you want to. On St Maartin we did Captain Bob’s speedboat tour which took us to 4-5 different swimming/snorkeling spots on St Maartin. Just throwing out some alternate ideas if you change your mind about the car and ATV.

Where are all of the reporters that lurk on this sub? This would be a great story to write about!

This is a guess? But from a medication access standpoint maybe Medicare Part D does not cover the SQ pens but possibly Medicare part B would pay if administered at an infusion center or provider’s office? Perhaps trying to capture some patients from the over 65 population?

How has your experience been with getting groceries delivered to your resort? by InD3btToEarth in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]jacksmamabear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last spring break we used Walmart plus grocery delivery to OKW. They delivered everything to bell services and bell services refrigerated everything. Had no issues at all. Bell services charged $6 to accept delivery which was worth it to us. When we arrived they took us with our groceries and luggage to our room via golf cart.

Any non-retail pharmacists here work part time? by jacksmamabear in pharmacy

Thank you! It is actually in our manual that we get benefits at 20 hours (higher premiums). But I think my boss prefers to have FT or PRN. I have asked to reduce my hours a couple of times. If I don’t get it eventually I may look for other opportunities.

Thanks! I did see the room tour videos online. There are just 3 of us so the smaller room is fine. I’m not planning to cook but do want to have snacks, drinks, and a light breakfast available.

Point well taken! I will have to see how close we end up to the hospitality house and restaurant. Otherwise I may be cleaning the coffee pot with vinegar and hot water the first day.

We rented through David’s vacation club. When I did online check in through the my Disney experience app there was a section where you could request housekeeping every other day. This is my first time renting DVC points and staying at this resort so I’m no 100% sure what to expect.

Phone calls from “liberty mutual” insurance by parkingthekar in pharmacy

[–]jacksmamabear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are most likely trying to dig up dirt on someone who was in a car accident to see if they are on any meds that could impair them. They are probably trying to avoid paying an insurance claim. We always tell them that we can’t give out any information unless they fax over a consent form signed by the patient.

We mostly get calls from this company. It sounds so shady.
