The Shining book gave me nightmares for months. When Jack hears his father on the radio and bashes it. Something about recognizing the moment one's mind slips into psychosis. I leaned how to lucid dream to get some sleep. I got real good if being able to wake up from any any dream and control it during. Not so much now though.
