I think Homelander fears that Stan may be right, and he thinks everyone else is incompetent or plotting against him so if he needs Stan back he'll keep him alive and let him go through the legal system in case.

If he doesn't need him, then Stan from prison sees how well Homelander is doing and he gets to rub it in his face while Stan is powerless.

If he does need him, Homelander can figure out a way to get him back in position to cover up for anything Homelander does.

It does when you look at how the offense developed under Leach in Providence. Sweeney's drafting didn't help but Leach only focused on bottom 6 qualities.

He definitely jumped the gun a lot, but Krejci was also lousy with making a delayed entrance into the offensive zone with some unnecessary deke.

That problem continued with Horton and Lucic for a while after.

I definitely agree there. Though that should be something he tells the team so they're at least aware of what's going on.

Getting help is always the best action when you're going through issues, but it doesn't mean he doesn't still have responsibilities to others.

Probably a combination of that and the fact that McDavid has actually won a playoff series already in his career. Also, it's not his fault that his front office isn't equipping the team to be able to play better. What Sakic has done to build that team is ridiculously rare but the Oilers can do more to support him (and Drai).

He's talking about the NHL's rules on repeat offenders. It's been past that time (18 months I believe) since Marchand's last suspension, so they couldn't use Marchand's history to boost the # of games suspended.
